Well hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it? Firstly, thank you to everyone who filled in for my usual Daily Post while I was away, I did have a catch up of the SPC posts while I was on holiday and you all did a great job, so thanks for that!
Now I’m back once again like a Renegade Master though, so I do hope you enjoy what I have for you today ;)
For those who don’t know, I have been on holiday for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Goat and I went to the absolutely brilliant Trinidad & Tobago on an invitation from a colleague of mine here in Denmark who went back for a long holiday. The experiences we had were absolutely fantastic – the weather was lovely, the sea warm, the food spicy and exotic, the people warm and friendly and the rum & coconut water ice cold :D
We miss it already as it was a really special place and a great holiday but I have uploaded loads of pics to Facebook and my Flickr account – with a highlights album here. Have a quick look through and I hope you enjoy them…

Yes, the beaches really do look like Paradise in the Caribbean...
Now for some F1 news and stuff
But enough about my holidays – time for some links to the main stories in F1! Hopefully what I link to this time won’t start any more flame wars, eh? ;)
The first story is not really much of a story – Red Bull are going to be sponsored by Infiniti for 2011 and beyond. But what has made this story interesting is the way the media have handled it. The PR company handling the release of the story asked for an embargo on the release of the story until midnight, March 1st. The BBC however released a story on Sunday (which has since been taken down, hence the Google Cache link).
Of course, the PR company were not happy with that and the story got taken down, as it turned out to be mostly inaccurate – stating that Red Bull would run rebranded Infiniti engines. It’s a shame to see the BBC get it so wrong and not get their facts straight as they are seen to be a trusted source of information.
Joe was also in the firing line as he posted on this story and did not get it right either – with a very strong discussion in the comments on his blog over the way he handled the story. We have also had some great discussions in the comments here about it too. At the end of the day, the story has got a lot more mileage than it should have!
In other news… Timo Glock has had an appendectomy, but he’s ok – and even managed to score points in Christine’s Rankings as he tweeted from Hospital! By the way, Christine’s Rankings are now split into two parts, the team part can be found here. Also, don’t forget Tweets of the Week and Christine has a Pandariffic new header on her personal website ;)
McLaren have been posting some excellent retrospective articles and here is another about how Ayrton Senna got his first F1 test. When’s the movie coming out in Europe???
Bernie Ecclestone is currently going through his typical pre-season nonsensical rant phase – this time criticising the moveable rear wings and suggesting that F1 races should have artificial rain to make things more exciting. Also, he is suggesting that the Bahrain Grand Prix be moved to August during the summer break, which Joe thinks the teams will never agree to.
Lukeh celebrated his blogthday yesterday with a summary of his most popular posts in 2010 – which happened to be St. David’s Day (the Patron Saint of Welsh Cakes). To celebrate, F1 Badger ran an article on F1’s Top 5 Welshmen.
Sir Jackie Stewart thinks F1 circuits are too much the same and don’t punish the drivers enough. Hear hear! Speaking of Sir Jackie, the Sportscar team he used to drive for is back – entering an Aston Martin DBRS9 GT3 at the 24 Hours of Spa in July.
Peugeot are going to campaign a Hybrid 908 at Le Mans this year with a KERS system – except it will operate every time the car accelerates and not just a contrived “push-to-pass” system, which sounds like a much better application of KERS if you ask me.
Pat’s got his TMR Game scores up for week 6 – I am doing badly due to my holiday, so remember to get your picks in in time!
One of my favourite childhood rally heroes, Juha Kankkunen, has just broke the World Ice Land Speed Record in a Bentley at 205mph. Only the Finns…
Springfield Punx WHOsdays are back! This time, it’s the Silurians…
David Walliams of Little Britian fame is hosting a mammoth 24 hour Panel Show for Comic Relief – but will it be as good as Sidepodradio I wonder?
Facebook are launching a new commenting system which will allow linking to and from articles and comments, and should in theory reduce flaming and trolling – maybe Joe could use this to help him out on his blog? ;)
A friend of mine was given a Supercar driving experience as a Christmas present and I promised to find out if it was any good – what are your thoughts and do you have any tips for the lucky ****?
Finally, my friend from University has written her first app for the iPhone called TimeEstimator – a fun game where you have to guess correctly how long a certain time period takes without looking at the clock. She wrote it to learn objective-C, so check it out and let her know what you think!
So that’s all from me – Enjoy your day, see you in the comments and I look forward to reading the Spanish Wednesday that Amanda will publish later!
Wow, that picture really does look like paradise.
Brilliant daily, welcome back Gavin :)
Hi Wednesday. Trinidad & Tobago looks fantastic. :)
Interesting timing because the Aston Martin AMR One details came out 40 minutes ago, they were supposed to be embargoed until midnight but someone broke it, so DSC, PLM and Speed were given the go ahead to publish as well.. These embargoes are more trouble than they are worth, surely!
Ta for the pluggie. :)
It was at a beach called Maracus, where we had the best Shark and Bake (a fried fish sandwich) in the world, and then spent 3 hours bodyboarding in the water!
Thanks, I missed writing these :)
No probs, you were just in time ;)
Yep, good to have a Gavin Daily again. :)

You read my mind.
How sweet of you! Thanks. :)
Yeah... but he had the top up.
We'll post it again later too eh?
That would be fine with me. Thanks for the sidepod support. :)
People should read it, Prague looks great!

First of all, thank you for asking.
Second, um....sure. I'll hold my breath a little. This is all new to me, sharing my writing....
Ok, sir, retweet away.
All the blood just rushed to my feet. *gulp*

omg, you've written loads! when did you blog all of this kai?
It was my travel journal for my trip. I did it from the 15th to the 26th or so.
but it's so much blogging! am v.impressed.
I just like to write to process stuff.
i haven't had time to appreciate the international meetup. sounds like we missed to brilliant get together.
I had the BEST time. I haven't laughed so hard or so much in a really long time. I needed it.
The meetup in Boston will be great.
we need video from that.
No wonder McLaren are struggling in testing, the BBC have exclusively revealed that they have been using their road going coupe. Doh!
The MP4-12C was belatedly unveiled at second testing in Jerez, and technical issues affected Barcelona testing

Speaking of Senna and the doco, I had the pleasure of seeing it over the weekend. It's playing in town as a part of the Adelaide Film Festival.
If there are any Sidepodders in my corner of the world who didn't see it on Sunday, all I will say is move heaven and earth to catch the second screening this Sunday (March 6th).
For those who have to wait longer until a European release (however hard that may be) it will be well worth it. The hype is justified. It's a masterpiece. A must for non-F1 types as well.
oh, my, christ.
I can't even be bother to tell them. The whole news site is going down hill

oooh, could we twist your arm into writing a short guest post about the film.
Mr C, have you heard that OS X Lion includes the Server edition and inbuilt Podcast publishing apps
[at least, in Beta anyway]
Would love to.
My family has already mentally budgeted a household's worth of cinema tickets to see the film ;)
yeah, they're not very good. hopeless/awful/halfarsed/lefttorot would be some choice phrases i could throw at 'podcast producer'.
I think they're filming an episode of Doctor Who at that there website!
very much appreciated. we have a quick intro page for just such a purpose: http://sidepodcast.com/about/writing-a-guest-post
feel free to yell if there's anything we can help with. v.keen to hear what you made of it.
No worries Mr C. I throw something together then!
Interesting
legend, thank you.
and on that note, i'm going to call it a night. cheers all.
Have a good night!
Light Peak technology [Thunder Cat] and the imminent Intel chips that promote small flash OS drives make me want to definitely wait for this year's desk top hardware

That article also says that Lewis Hamilton is deciding between two candidates to represent him.
Simon Fuller, whose past efforts have brought us S Club 7, The Spice Girls and Honda's Earth Car!
Lewis is really losing big points for me these days
I never knew what happened between him and his dad.
I suspect he was either too controlling or like his Siamese Twin. Or both
And parents as managers can be tricky after a while.
They can be bad enough as just parents! :)
Very true :)
Early night for me. This work thing takes a lot of energy. ;)
Good night
Goodnight!
G'night Kai, I'll tweet a SidepodBoston reminder when I manage to look at the wiki. Maybe tomorrow now, bed for me too soon
Welcome back Gavin! Wow, that's quite a daily! :-) Ta for the introduction/preview/outlook. :-)
nice pics of nice place Mr Goat. pity that Caribbean and South America are the places furthest away from here ... when planning holidays it usually comes down to comparison similar to this - Borneo - 3hrs flight vs Caribbean 30 hours on several flights :-) I envy one of my friends who has clients based at Curacao and is obliged to visit them once a year
Thanks man, it's much appreciated and I think it's safe to say we really enjoy it :)
Shame. Have you looked into Fiji/Samoa/Vanuatu? Also I hear Guam is nice...
those pacific islands are tempting and manageable, so one day probably will do. but first have to do kiwiland :-)
Guam I do not know, Guam and Saipan are quite popular destinations here but somehow I haven't been attracted by them, yet ...
Likely going to do Kota Kinabalu on Malaysian Borneo in May and hopefully hike up the Mt Kinabalu :-)
Sounds great!
I biked to work today for the first time in 3 months - which was really nice but a bit tough because I have lost a lot of fitness!
Compare this morning's effort: http://runkeeper.com/user/RubberGoat/activity/27315025 with one posted before I stopped for winter: http://runkeeper.com/user/RubberGoat/activity/20026731
The traffic stops negate the time difference a bit, but basically on my 7-gear bike I never got out of 4th while last year I could comfortably hit 6th!
I feel great though and I plan to start running soon ;)
morning folks,
nice daily gavin
Thanks man. Feels good to be back ;)
Ouch indeed

most of South East Asian economies pressed the re-set button in 1997-98. it was not painless but probably necessary after years of inflating bubble. Malaysia chose different path that time. Fixed exchange rate, currency and capital flow control and all sorts of protectionism. It did help them at that time as it protected their economy from the Asian financial meltdown of late 90s. But it also helped to keep alive lots of white elephants, like Proton. In any open market economy that company would be dead and buried long long ago. But Proton was Mahathir's baby, the national car, the national pride. It could not be allowed to fail... Somehow it survives till today, years after Mahathir left the office. But maybe Bahar can achieve what markets were not allowed to do :-)
i see
The British Leyland oath it seems.
all that said, Malaysia is one of my favourite places to visit. I don't think there is a country in Asia (China does not count) that I visited more often then Malaysia :-)
and Williams F1 is trading ...
http://www.boerse-frankfurt.de/EN/index.aspx?pageID=290
that sends me to 'This activity is only viewable by RubberGoat' :(
Ok, I'll change my settings so you can see them. Does it work now?
The funny thing about Runkeeper is that I haven't used it for running yet ;)
nope
Try again.
Sorry for the hassle. Silly Runkeeper!
Turns out that that even if you change your status from private to public, you have to change each individual activity twice - the map and the activity itself. How very annoying!
sounds like too much effort to me but thanks because now I can see :D
That is weird, although I must say I like that the map and activity are two separate things. I want to see both but I don't necessarily want to share both. Then again if it was a race or something, I might want to, so... now I've talked myself into thinking they've got it right :)
Also, morning all.

Nice daily Gavin
Did JYS really drive for Ecurie Ecosse? I don't think he did. His brother Jimmy raced for them but I think the only times Jackie sat in one of their cars was as a kid when his brother raced or 3 or 4 years ago when Knockhill did a historic festival with him as guest of honour where he seemed to spend his day signing autographs, posing for photos and jumping into ever old car in the paddock trying them out like an excited schoolboy. It was hard to say who had the biggest smile on those occasions; him because he was in a car of a type he had not driven in 40 odd years or the owners when Jackie Stewart walked up and asked if it would be OK for him to sit in their car.
Some of the owners he did not know at all and others he had not seen in decades but as soon as any of them said their name he would know where and when they had met and discuss people they had known at that time. I don't think there was a single person who exchanged a smile with him that day who didn't leave with a huge grin.
It may seem odd but Jim Clark never drove for Ecurie Ecosse either and was known on occasion to complain about not being asked. It seems he saw it as some kind of personal insult. He did drive for the Border Reivers who were their local rivals but not as high profile.
Nice story Steven
Thanks Steven,
To be honest I'm not sure about JYS driving for Ecurie Ecosse - I seem to remember some mention of it in his autobiography but then like you say, it was in relation to his brother Jimmy driving for them. The website is ambigious about it though: http://www.ecurieecosse.com/memories_details.asp?memoryID=2
Apparently Jim Clark did drive for them once, however: http://www.ecurieecosse.com/who_drove_details.asp?driverID=9
Morning (just) everyone :)
hi alex
You all right mate?
Yeah doing a bit better... I was going to take it nice and easy today but some of our work servers had a different idea so while I am off sick I have just ended up working since 6:45 until now. Ooops.
I must have read that before because I knew the Masten Gregory story but did not associate it with Ecurie Ecosse. Gregory was Clark's hero then they shared a car and Clark totally blew him away.
Looks like I got the JYS bit wrong too. Not a good start to my commenting day. That piece clearly suggests he drove for them.
I need to send my memory for a service
It. Is. Snowing!!!
oooh if you find one of those I'll take it
In fairness, it was one drive each. Hardly a regular driver!
did no one tell Denmark that winter is over?
Good morning everyone.
I opened up my blog for a couple of days if anyone wants to read about Prague (in reverse date order).
http://solongandthanksforallthefishies.blogspot.com/
Time to get ready for work...
By the way, is there a setting to flip the entries so they are in chronological order that they happened instead?
:D
I only read the start before my comment. Must stop doing that. Clearly it was not a race drive but a publicity stunt.
You opened it to the world? Very brave. I'm impressed
Apparently not. I blame Kathi for making a stop here and bringing the weather with her ;)
Technically it's not over for another 19 days...
Indeed - I missed that when I read it. He must have mentioned the team only in relation to his brother, but it seems amazing that there was an Ecurie Ecosse and yet the two best drivers from that era were not regulars in the team!
hoooray I have entered that competition and clearly I'll win. But I'm not sharing my entry because those '25 words or less' things are always horrible :D
The best days of the team were over by the time Stewart was racing seriously.
The original article mentioned David Leslie, DC and McNish. David Leslie was a great driver. Really underrated and definitely good enough for F1 but never had any money. He was European FF200 champion and didn't have the money to do F3 after that. He used to race in the Scottish Atlantic championship and totally dominate. When I started going to Ingliston there were hundreds of people who just went to watch him and as soon as his last race was finished they left.
Everyone knows about Senna and Brundle dominiating the 83 F3 championship but the driver who won the first race that season was David Leslie. All the top drivers had Ralts and he had some piece of garbage that there was only ever one built. He was a great sorter of cars so he had it set up perfectly for the first race. By the second Ralt had all the data from all their drivers and he never got a look in again.
He drove both Ecosse C2 prototypes at Le Mans and their Cavalier in BTCC. You will also find that all the drivers of the McNish/DC/Franchitti generation credit him and his father (also David) for helping them get into cars and progress in them.
DC as far as I can remember only drove one race for the team and that was a class win in a Jaguar at Le Mans. After the race the car was disqualified for some technical infringement. I think it was exhaust related but I could be completely wrong.
Ecurie Ecosse gave McNish his first chance to race cars. They had an ancient Mondiale FFord that various people raced. He did three races in that car and the third one was the first time I saw him race. I think that was his first and possible only car race in Scotland. The FFord championship was so strong they had to run two races to give everyone a race. The top guys were good and had their cars set up perfectly. McNish turned up and was doing really well but had a huge crash and I doubt they ever found all the bits of the car. But he had made a name for himself and the next season he had full Marlboro sponsorship and Hakkinen as his team mate. But it is very possible had it not been for Ecurie Ecosse and David Leslie he would never have raced a car at all.
McNish was excellent in those FF and F3 days. Sadly it was just far, far too long before he got into F1
I met David Leslie once - a really nice chap.
Lost all career momentum in his second season in F3000 when he was a massive title favourite and Lola built an absolute dog. Everyone who started with Lola switched to Reynards but DAMS were the Lola factory team so were stuck with them.
I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. Desoite not reaching anywhere near the level his ability deserved he never seemed to complain about it
Aye - i also remember he was the McLaren tester for what felt like forever, before he inally hit his stride with sportscars
Carlos slim has opened a new art gallery: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-12617888
Massive.
He was the first ever young, big name test driver so no other team would touch him because he was McLaren's man and they never gave him a race drive.
...and by the time Senna had left, Hakkinen jumped McNish and the team were going through the duldrums
Ha!
Odd as it seems the key point in their careers was Marlboro choosing McNish ahead of Hakkinen for the one F3 seat they had in 89 and dropping Hakkinen
if that doesn't raise a smile, nothing will
Do you want cover for your daily, Mr Giggles, or is your brain better today?

It's still snowing! I remain convinced this country does not experience spring or autumn; rather it has a two week transition between winter and summer
Hope he is OK
Get well soon, Jackie.
Ah well.
Good news. Jackie Stewart is apparently fine (yes I know I'm linking to Andrew Benson, but his source is Paul Stewart, so it should be true).
Thank goodness
Phew.
Scottish and chest pains almost always means heart attack. I was worried.
Excellent.
Hullo all, fantastic daily Gavin. lots of goodiness and your holiday looked wonderful :)
Thanks man!

I love your chosen photo, it looks like a postcard! Does look really perfect :)
I am here. But not for long.

Has anyone seen the news about the iPlayer? Thought it would be worth mentioning here with our many international commentors, but at some point in 2011 BBC appear to be planning to introducing a pay to watch iPlayer service for around the world. Wonder if this will including live streaming on the iPlayer for F1 fans?
Aye - announced late last year I believe. The charge is just for non-UK viewers
Probably not, due to rights restricitions I reckon.
That means they will probably start clamping down on VPN's I reckon.
I doubt F1 will make it due to the licensing issues, with the possible exception of the season review (where there'd be time to get special clearance). Still, it strikes me as an excellent response to the millions of people who want to watch BBC stuff and can't currently see it due to geographical issues.
The funny part is that I have 3 BBC channels which I do pay for - Entertainment, Lifestyle and News. I can watch pretty much all the BBC shows here.
The Williams shares seem to be trading OK - only down 0.5€ since trading began?
I say that because BBC were forecasting doom earlier...
Good. Full quote here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9411842.stm

not ahww at you not having audio, at the drivers messages ;)
Darn it. I have audio but no audio is coming out of the video. That looks rather points worthy too.
i can't hear anything, but from the facial expressions i am already predicting a massive week for christine's rankings :)
who's is the best?
in work, so can't even look
oooh, i plugged a lead into your headphone socket last night...
Heikki wants to go rallying in finland with him to look after him :)
Heikki is good. Been talking to Kubica's manager etc about him
Petrov.
Worse is Schumacher.
I am not fiddling with all these wires. It'll wait.
Even Catherine gets a mention
just pull them out.
Heikki says if Bahrain is cancelled he will go and have lunch with him
D'aww Rubens :D hehehehehehe. Cheeky.
Rubens has been bugging his manager for info to.
Also suggested that Kubica should have asked the surgeon to take a bit out of his nose
Guess he's already booked the table then ;)
Vettel telling him not to lose all his money gambling in hospital and keep it so the F1 guys can win it
heheeheh!!
awww, we need these transcribed in a post :)
Michael struggling to even consider any emotion
I can't type at Christine speed.
Webber was just Webber
Sergio and Kobayashi didn't say much and nether did Schumacher or Petrov.
Petrov says if you need anything just call me.
According to Autosport, Tonio Liuzzi's asked Robert to come back soon... ...so that he can win his money back off him (I get the impression Robert's somewhat better at poker than Tonio).
That only works if it is embeddable.
It's not often he demonstrates any in public, so that's no surprise.
Heidfeld suggesting that Kubica seeing him in his car will motivate him.
Bruno also said if you need anything just call. Interesting the young guys are making those offers
course not. it's perfect for me, who has no audio.
...and also for when f1.com deletes it.
jereremy ambrosia reminds me of brendon fraser.
A fair number of the older lot, already being good friends with Robert, probably have that assumption in place as an unwritten thing.
Paul di Resta said that the two of them were discussing rallying at the last test.
Timo saying he hopes Kubica is back quick because he wants a chance to win back the money Robert won from him at poker last year
He doesn't take two hours to say what he thinks, does he?
I swear buemi and jaime are actually brothers :D
Liuzzi is going bald.
They are similar
Yup - it was thinning when he arrived in F1 but the changes over the last season have been dramatic. Who knew being involved in serial minor crashes was so stressful?
Sutil seems very serious and genuine.
Alonso says Kubica is one of his best friends in F1. Maybe the only real friend he has amongst the drivers.
He has always respected Kubica since he was racing karts and Kubica was racing in smaller classes.
He is sure that Kubica will come back to racing.
rumour was, that's why fickle red bull dropped him.
Hmm Massa wasn't in the video... that I saw anyway.
who knew?
Nope, no massa
Lewis and Jenson doing a double act.
Lewis says he is missed in the paddock. Lewis says Kubica makes his car as wide as possible and is difficult to overtake. Jenson says its called weaving and he is sure Kubica is enjoying the morphine.
I need way more fingers if I need to type at this speed
I hadn't heard that.
No Massa, Rosberg, Maldonado, Trulli. I guess they were not at testing
not the right image etc.. mind you, they employed berger at the time, so who knows.
Maldonado was there, but he didn't say a lot.
I guess it is different if you are one of the Red Bull athletes potraying the image they want
I missed him while typing.
they also probably don't want anyone using it.

Oh no!
He has visited Robert in hospital though - maybe he said everything he felt he needed to say there...
They'd make a good comedy pairing, no?
Jaime and Buemi are the comedy pairing of the paddock. Love them and their brotherness!!
Lewis and Jenson... not so much...
Possibly - I thought they were real friends too :(
You're just saying that because you'd rather see Jenson with Rubens. :P
Awwww, Vitaly.
well, you've never said that before!
:)
shhhhhhhhh :)
No I like the chemistry between them, I just wouldn't say they're really funny. They probably have a better chemistry than Jenson did with Rubens in all honesty.
I thought this was going to be the first time they were serious. Lewis started off serious but Jenson de-railed him
He looked really concerned, poor him. :(
"I hope you know my number..."
♥
Aye - apparently Alonso and Kubica have been good friends for a good number of years, long before F1 anyway. Weren't they team mates at one point too?
They were briefly both Renault testers back in 2002.
Not that I know off. Alonso was always a step or two ahead. I guess it's possible that they drove for the same team in different classes

Okay, done. One video transcribed. It's not good enough for a post. Where do you want it?
coool! but... in a post. why's it not good enough?
Bits I don't know what they say.
wiki?
Hi people.
hehe. trulli wasn't in the video?
See if the rest of us can understand those bits
Hehehehe.
Two of them mention someone called jackonelly, which is clearly not what they're saying, although that is a fabbo name.
And Alonso says some stuff about moving on to another category to do with Spain, and I got lost.
Giaconelli is Kubica's manager
I remember him saying that when he was karting Kubica was in a lower category and he kept an eye on him as they moved from category to category because he won everything
in my head, the post would ideally be:
- simple description of video (in case it gets removed), and a link
- some memorable quotes
if you've transcribed the whole thing that's ace, put it at the bottom too. really i meant the best quotes should be transcribed and kept for posterity, rather than word-for-word. apologies, i just wanted to read em before i got home.
Ohh. That must be the name. Although I thought his manager was Morelli? Cause Heikki says jackonelly and your manager.
Oh. I'll stand down.
Dino Morelli is his manager. You are right. Maybe Giaconelli is his trainer or physio
After you transcribed nearly all of it?
boo. sorry, was a 3 minute job in my head. simple lines, wrap in quotes and publish. speed
sportingblogging. Is tonight's apple thingy part of GDC or just a conference from apple themselbves?
cdg?
big covention in america at the moment, seems to be a lot of big developers putting on conferences today and tomorrow and it just seemed odd apple has decided to put a conference in the middle of a convention but not part of it, or so I can tell..
oh. it's them on their own. probably the timing is deliberate though.
Like I just noticed Nintendo have a conference at 5:30 GMT tonight yet Apple have the obvious one at 6pm. Seems a bit of a logistical nightmare for media journalists.
yep, that'll be intentional. games news expected from apple today too.

Awesome job!
On a completely unrelated note, Ireland are about to beat England in the cricket world cup!!
Nice to see the Mail going OTT. Jackie Stewart's plane makes emergency landing......at the airport it was travelling to

So did I read right that there was going to be some FBFB of the Apple event?
http://yfrog.com/h7l7uxmj
http://factbytefactbox.com/live
hurrah!
The FBFB seems to be on a quest to push the limits of my knowledge. NASCAR, space, now technology wotsits.
:) And songs that you don't know :)
We'll help you out :)
I never liked them as crisps, i welcome the new direction
Will there be a thread?
:)
Hmm, perhaps there should be.
They decided to be technology wotsits,
but at one point they had wavered on quavers.
I don't mind I just wondered about all of our responses to the FBFB
Shortest post evah: http://sidepodcast.com/post/live-apple-ipad-2-keynote
Good work Christine :)
Looks better when the FBFB fills it afterwards. For now, it is the extent of me knowledge :)
Hehe, they're talking about The Sims on the Nintendo conference. They reckoned when it was first thought up it would never sell...
...oops!
:)
Evening
I thought that too when I first saw it. :) Couldn't understand why a people thing would be better than building a whole city. Still can't but then I've never played it. :)
Pirelli clearly want to keep in with Bernie. They think artificial wet races are a good idea

Christine,
Do you know your team's game is live on ITV1? Program is just starting.

I turned over and within 10 seconds I was annoyed by Chiles, Keith, Ian and Andy.
ahh, we're recording a show with manipe v.soon :(
if you have any questions for him, please yell though. just trying to get out of apple mode, back into f1.
Don't mention the cricket, do mention the RTE F1 thing
ooh, yes.
hold on, ireland won though?
Exactly.
ah-ha.

Glad you are enjoying it
Or not enjoying then
Enjoying it while I work :)
After you opened your blog up so everyone could see who you really are?
I don't understand...
Now people could know that it is you who is skiving at work to play on the internet
hehe
Oh. No, the kids are gone. I'm doing work after school to prepare.
Good point, though...I'll have to keep that stuff in mind... :)
That's OK then.
I am sure anyone who knows you in the real world browsing this sie can figure out who you are anyway. How many female teachers in Connecticut with your football affiliations were in Prague recently? :D
doh! hehe
It can be very hard to be anonymous on the internet.
Yeah, I did think of that ahead of time. My life is actually quite lame and there's nothing I do that anyone would care much about. It's okay. :)
Gotta run, catch you later.
That's OK then
Have fun

Also, this is interesting: A lot of teams have employed old tyre technicians from Bridgestone to help them understand the new rubber and any extra information they can get is incredibly valuable.
So, anyone around who feels like writing a daily? Poor Mr Giggles isn't feeling well.
Hello! Just come back from Italian class (and having tea). Had two very easy assessments - only 4 left to go :)
