News was very slow yesterday, which actually makes a nice, refreshing change as it doesn't seem to have stopped since well before the season actually started. With that being the case, here are some of the other things we're discussing at the moment:

  • In case you've missed it, there's a Sidepodscience meetup happening next Wednesday at the Science Museum in London. Plenty of information available on the wiki, and this time next week we'll be recovering from ogling all the lovely F1 stuff in the museum.
  • There are a couple of other great new pages on the wiki. Jackie created the Stages of a Sidepodaddiction page, and I see that people are starting to add which stage they feel they are at. If you haven't already, go and check it out and evaluate which point you're at on the list. Is there a stage 50? Cos I think that's me!
  • A new episode of Sidepodcast Diaries is available to view. I've been a little bit sneaky and combined it with a plug for meandpage22.co.uk. If you haven't taken a picture yet, do it now!

That'll do it for now. Keep your eyes peeled for any news as it happens, although I'm not expecting any. F1 people are allowed holidays too, I suppose. I will see you in the comments.

Just as a heads up tonight, I'm gonna be at my dad's, so does anyone fancy coming on Skype tonight for a chat? :)

Here's a story to have a look at in the meantime. Sutil says the technical partnership with McLaren will start to come good in the next few races. Can't believe it only took them 4 months to build their car though.

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74356

I hope it does. For some reason, I've grown to like Sutil. I think he's a great driver, being an F3 Euroseries champion and all. he just needs a good car to show it. You saw in Malaysia what he could do, he even put the car top in practice in the dry for a short while. Probably due to short fuel but nonetheless it's an achievement nonetheless. As I've already said, their qualifying pace isn't quite up to scratch, but it definately looks like their car is tonnes more reliable than last season's, which I'm sure is mainly down to the Mercedes engine. That thing is just solid.

The former promoter of the Canadian Grand Prix believes that Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley, Formula One Management chief and FIA President respectively, should now be relieved of their duties in the sport.

Have opened my wireless connection for them for the next couple of weeks while they get the interweb.net/org installed.

Will have to get their Wii code and challenge them to a few games. My X360 is a launch console and in it's box - no space for it out, with the Megadrive, SNES, N64 and the CD32

Foot, let me introduce you to this gun. Gun, this is my foot.

  • chris evans09/04/2009 at 09:55

My X360 is a launch console

It must be one of the few that still works then!

  • Flibster09/04/2009 at 09:56

It must be one of the few that still works then!

It's been faultless. Never crashed, never red-ringed. It's hardly ever on though. Too many other things to play with.

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 09:58

Foot, let me introduce you to this gun. Gun, this is my foot.

    It gets worse too:

The teams could leave tomorrow morning - they could call it the 'Grand Prix World Championship'. If you have Ferrari, BMW, Williams, if you have Lewis Hamilton, that seems pretty much like the real thing," he added.

Bernie says McLaren could face race bans

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74360

Oh dear, this just keeps getting worse and worse for them.

  • Flibster09/04/2009 at 10:00

No race in Montreal for a while then…

    :(

The promoter has the right idea though. Max is 69 and Bernie is 79...

They both can have free bus passes - which explains a lot about their ideas.

    'when I were a lad...'

Bernie says McLaren could face race bans

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74360

Oh dear, this just keeps getting worse and worse for them.

BAR Honda received 2 races ban back in 2005 I would not be suprised if similar thing happens to McLaren ... WMSC will likely find them guilty and I doubt they will get away only with fine. Bernie's worlds sum it up:

"It is not so long ago that McLaren were in front of the Council and it is never good for anyone if you are back in court quickly for something similar."

It’s fantastic! I couldn’t believe how busy the place was and how much good on track action we saw.

Awesome, my plan for the year is to go see a bit more motorsport, last year i had none, and the year before was lacking too, so this year i'm going to get back into it!! Got a day at Brands Hatch for BRSCC club racing in the diary too, very excited!!

Some people think British motorsport is nothing to shout about! Those people are very wrong ;)

Hey guys. Currently stuck in a queue. Glad you like the photo. I'll try to take one with me in it, but it's hard when there's no mirror on your phone.

I can’t remember when/what mine was about….but it had Christine in, and i think ‘me’ was in it too, or what i thought he looks like lol, it was a strange dream

Ah I imortalised mine in the comments:

    http://www.sidepodcast.com/2008/12/24/daily-24th-december-2008/#comment-166423

So I had a really weird dream last night.

I dreamt I was on the Sidepodpannel and it was all going well. But for some reason the format had changed slightly and you had to buzz in with your answer. Two of the panalists were being a bit quiet and everyone was feeling a bit nervous about them as they were the special guests. Maybe they weren’t getting it? The two special guests were Ayrton Senna and Phillipe Massa. I know that sounds weird this was a dream. Then the following conversation happened in one of the between question banter bits:

Senna: Sorry Phillipe and me haven’t been joining in very much. Our English isn’t so good for this kind of show.

Mr Christine: Don’t worry Ayrt… Mr Senna your English is better than our Brazilian.

    Christine: It’s portuguese not Brazilian.

    Alarm goes off!

So I think this means I’m officially Sidepodcrazy.

  • Jon Waldock09/04/2009 at 11:32

So I think this means I’m officially Sidepodcrazy.

I would agree with you there i think.....also....you had this dream on Christmas Eve...there must be something in that....

  • Sean Golding09/04/2009 at 11:39

I would agree with you there i think…..also….you had this dream on Christmas Eve…there must be something in that….

Well, morning of Christmas Eve, not the night before Christmas.

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 11:48

    Bernie won’t be happy!

All you need for a breakaway series is Ferrari, BMW, Williams and Lewis Hamilton!

  • Jon Waldock09/04/2009 at 11:48

All you need for a breakaway series is Ferrari, BMW, Williams and Lewis Hamilton!

    That makes a 7 car championship....hmmm

  • Flibster09/04/2009 at 11:51

All you need for a breakaway series is Ferrari, BMW, Williams and Lewis Hamilton!

All you need is Ferrari to agree to it and you've got the series there. Everyone else will go across with them.

Thats why the initial breakaway threats failed - Ferrari sided with Bernie.

Well, I say sided - I mean, were bought by Bernie. ;)

McLaren have officially confirmed their attendance for the diffuser hearing at the Court of Appeal.

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74358

This will be a tough one for the FIA now...Will they rule out the protest to get at McLaren again or in favour to help Ferrari ??

  • Jon Waldock09/04/2009 at 11:54

    This is quite genius...

"Airwaves BMW’s Jonathan Adam has said having his first win taken away at Brands Hatch on Sunday left him feeling like Felipe Massa – but insists he has no hard feelings about the result.

Adam said the removal of his win – having initially tasted the victory champagne – left him feeling like Felipe Massa who briefly thought last year he had won the Formula 1 title only for it to swing Lewis Hamilton’s way in the dying seconds of the last race of the season."

  • Flibster09/04/2009 at 11:55

This will be a tough one for the FIA now…Will they rule out the protest to get at McLaren again or in favour to help Ferrari ??

Against it. Their hatred of McLaren is much worse than their love of Ferrari. ;)

Actually perhaps Stage 8 should be meeting up with Sidepodcast. Although I have met half of Sidepodcast…

That presumes they're anti-diffusers, they could double-bluff the FIA and pretend they love the radical diffuser designs!

Would you rather that justice was seen to be sidestepped? Surely any team could use that "get out of jail clause" re sponsors. Personally if that were allowed to happen (fear of a major sponsor withdrawing) I think that would be a very unsatisfactory outcome to proceedings

  • Selidor09/04/2009 at 12:35

Surely the highest order is dreaming Sidepodcast?

Im not quite dreaming SPC, though I am dreaming F1.

    Lewis and Dave you plonkers.

Lewis Hamilton and McLaren's former sporting director Dave Ryan refused to change their story about having deliberately let Jarno Trulli through at the Australian Grand Prix, despite being played radio conversations and media interviews that suggested the contrary in their second stewards' hearing at Sepang.

This week's AUTOSPORT reveals that Hamilton and Ryan maintained their stance in that second hearing that Trulli had taken it upon himself to overtake the McLaren in the closing stages of the Melbourne race, even though the stewards presented them with fresh evidence to say they were lying.

So they were given their own evidence showing what had happened and they STILL lied about letting Trulli past...

I never said I didn't. I just thought I'd get Stuart's advice alongside yours. The guy used to work for F1 Racing as we all know, so I'm sure he'd have some good advice.

But I understand what you mean by writing a lot of blog posts. Although in terms of news stories, apart from the obvious scandals, there's not that much around. :P

Interestingly I think 5 might be one of those things that's setting yourself up for a fall. Writing one post a day every day of the year is a) hard but b) truly achievable. I have done it (not on F1). One of the things that really does begin to happen is that you tend to find that on quiet days you will start to have to think about the kinds of stories which are less about news and more about commentary. And that's when you're off to the races.

Absolutely. Rather than just regergitating what the last guy said. The problem for Scott is that unless he's going to be actually visiting any tracks he's unlikely to be adding any news. So don't just repeat. Digest. Enhance. etc.

mmm, true enough. so we he needs are 5 opinion posts per day? even better, that'll highlight his more creative skills and in theory should be more enjoyable.

I still think 5 might be a bit much. You can't keep that up I don't think.

Well more would be better... But as Jon says it also requires quality. If you can write 5 quality articles a day then you are astounding. But that's a hard stretch to start with.

    Defo quality!

I would also add that I’m talking about something like this as an example of the kind of length of article…

    yup, that seems about right.

here's the thing. i've watched christine write, and even though she doesn't do it for a living, i'm betting she could easily make five articles of that length per day. she could probably do that at the same time as keeping down a job, let alone if she had nothing to do all day.

this is going to sound harsh, but in the time we've been doing sidepodcast, scott has already started and given up on x2 f1 blogs. if he were honestly serious about writing for a living, he'd be out there doing something about it right now, instead of fannying around in the comments talking about doing something... one day.

5 articles, 4 articles, 3 articles. the number doesn't really matter.

  • Mike (aka RCC)09/04/2009 at 15:15

    Yes I do feel that.

    Oh dear

Ah well I suppose we all like different things.

I understand James Allen's voice is enough for some people to turn off. For me it's Legards terrible lack of knowledge.

Bring in David Croft and think everyone would be happy........

Agreed. Nobody is going to come up with the answer which is: "here's a ticket for going around the world watching all of the grand prixs with accommodation thrown in. Write some articles or something through the year but don't worry too much. This will get you started".

  • RG09/04/2009 at 15:17

I understand James Allen’s voice is enough for some people to turn off. For me it’s Legards terrible lack of knowledge.

I think Legard does know what he is talking about, he is just two races in and is fairly rusty around the edges. A bit bland, but I prefer that to shouting every time someone goes off, or Button wins

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 15:18

I think Legard does know what he is talking about, he is just two races in and is fairly rusty around the edges. A bit bland, but I prefer that to shouting every time someone goes off, or Button wins

I understand James Allen’s voice is enough for some people to turn off. For me it’s Legards terrible lack of knowledge.

it wasn't his voice. it was his primarily his condescending tone, slow reactions to changing conditions, an inability to contain several thoughts in his head at the same time and difficulty in reading a race while maintaining a conversation.

Bring in David Croft and think everyone would be happy……..

    i would be, yes.

If we want to keep Crofty at 5live, but need a good lead commentator with F1 knowledge, Ben Edwards?

  • RG09/04/2009 at 15:20

    i would be, yes.

I dont think any commentator really stands out for me. I think Croft is the best of a decent bunch, I think people will be saying what your saying about Legard, he might be too 'radio' like

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 15:20

    i would be, yes.

one must wonder why they picked legard over croft, when croft has been very good at it and has more recent experience.

but would legard accept a 'demotion' back to radio?

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 15:21

I dont think any commentator really stands out for me. I think Croft is the best of a decent bunch, I think people will be saying what your saying about Legard, he might be too ‘radio’ like

but if you guys watch him with the red button, and he seems fine, then he must already be TV-ready, right? doing FP work must help too.

    Huh?

  • RG09/04/2009 at 15:22

but would legard accept a ‘demotion’ back to radio?

I don't think the BBC will, if they listen to people that think legard isn't good enough then change him for Croft at the end of the season, and then Croft isn't good enough, they don't wanna be changing commentators every year.

  • RG09/04/2009 at 15:23

but if you guys watch him with the red button, and he seems fine, then he must already be TV-ready, right? doing FP work must help too.

Never seen the red button, so cant comment on how he'll fit in with the tv

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 15:23

I think Legard does know what he is talking about, he is just two races in and is fairly rusty around the edges. A bit bland, but I prefer that to shouting every time someone goes off, or Button wins

This is my point - lead commentators cannot be bland. They need to have genuine enthusiasm and excitement in their commentaty.

  • me09/04/2009 at 15:24

I dont think any commentator really stands out for me. I think Croft is the best of a decent bunch, I think people will be saying what your saying about Legard, he might be too ‘radio’ like

    Huh?

from what i said on the podcast you found the headline:

"I believe Legard must of really annoyed Mr C for him to say James Allen is better!!"

completely lost context from the conversation, planetf1-esque.

  • RG09/04/2009 at 15:25

he did good when he covered gp2 on the tv though.

Never heard him on gp2, I've heard contrasting opinions on that though from over people. From what other people have said, he was either good or not good.

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 15:29

I am just going to say one word on Legard's side for now...

Those were two seriously complex races he was commentating on.

James, in my my humble opinion, would still have been explaining the weights of the cars that had been released the night before about half an hour after the race was rained off.

Legard's knowledge will come... That's what Martin's there for anyway...

Before you had two commentators who wanted to be the knowledgeable one and often they would forget to talk about what was happening in the race. I think that might be why they chose Legard. To balance out Martin.

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 15:29

very true. and then five live went to football.

On Sunday? But the race WAS red-flagged. twas funny, though - we heard Ant talking to London on the mobile after they went off the air. He was still on-air in the Kangaroo. :D

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 15:30

Before you had two commentators who wanted to be the knowledgeable one and often they would forget to talk about what was happening in the race. I think that might be why they chose Legard. To balance out Martin.

Their chemistry is still way off, though. The balance as of now is more worse than better.

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 15:30

Now Ted could be an undiscovered gem in the commentary box, leave old Lee McKenzie to earn her dollar doing the pit lane reporting (Why she's needed when Holly Samos is there is another arguement) and give Ted a go, I really like his reports and he's very clear and concise in his delivery.

“I believe Legard must of really annoyed Mr C for him to say James Allen is better!!”

completely lost context from the conversation, planetf1-esque.

I'm with you, now granted I didn't include the rest of the conversation but in the podcast you do say James Allen is better then Legard at the moment. What I didn't add on is that you still think Allen is lame and wouldn't want him back anyway!

Have a read of that then and tell me what you think.

Abuse of the preposition 'with' in your first sentence would earn you a Bish-bashing!

    Edited. Better? :P

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 16:58

Took a bit longer than 20 mins but it’s on drop.io…

On the attention to detail front I did have somebody apply for a job at my place with the following listed on their CV:

    "Skills: Profreading"

So bad you wonder if they were making a joke!

  • Jackie09/04/2009 at 16:59

Nigel Stephany to take over as team principle of Ferrari

    Stepney in sex change shocka!

  • Stuart C09/04/2009 at 16:59

    Edited. Better?

Good-oh. Poor tortured 'with' has suffered unspeakably at the hands of lazy TV and radio news writers, and the misusage has percolated from there.

  • Stuart C09/04/2009 at 17:02

    “Skills: Profreading”

    Ha!

Right, the clang of wine bottles downstairs signifies that it's time to go. Goodnight!

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 17:04

    Edited. Better?

It’s still a long opening sentence:

In light of the new rules ripping up the original form book in Formula 1 and creating a brand spanking new one, it’s clear to see that the teams that were considered the front runners and championship contenders last season have pretty much fallen from grace and found themselves dangerously close to the latter end of the midfield.

    How about:

New rules have ripped up the Formula 1 form book this year. The front running teams and championship contenders have fallen from grace and now find themselves dangerously close to the latter end of the midfield.

It’s still a long opening sentence:

Of course, there's always a time and a place for a verbose rant or so

I got that Tommy Byrne book by Mark Hughes a few days ago. Very good, would recommend it to anyone looking for a motorsport book. One of F1's greatest What If's indeed. He's incredibly arrogant, but with his achievements, it's justified. Some great stories in there.

Ah was just reading that and wondered whats the difference between the International Court of Appeal and the WMSC in terms of the punishments they can impose?

Court of Appeal are generally punishments that fit whatevers being raised....

WMSC are a law unto themselves...

We will have to start a wiki page where we can put our lap times. We could choose a track every week / 2 weeks or something.

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 17:50

Ah was just reading that and wondered whats the difference between the International Court of Appeal and the WMSC in terms of the punishments they can impose?

Well... that's an interesting question... Of course one expects that you have appealed a judgement against you and the second is a new punishment which you may have already been penalised for.

    Digital steering rate 15%

    X axis sensitivity 6%

    RX axis sensitivity 8%

    Z axis sensitivity 85%

    X axis deadzone 10%

    RX axis deadzone 5%

Here is a very vivid description of Latvala's accident in the WRC at Portugal, fortunately by Latvala itself

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74369

Racing drivers know, at the bottom, that they can die in the car. But there must be a big distance between thinking you may die, and actually feeling you're going to die (and worse, with a lot of time to focus on that feeling). No wonder why drivers surviving such horrific crashes get changed forever...

  • RG09/04/2009 at 21:06

Here is a very vivid description of Latvala’s accident in the WRC at Portugal, fortunately by Latvala itself

It was an awful accident. Very luck man is Latvala, loads of rolls.

    Note for Scott

Remember the tips from Stuart. On your wiki page you say you were originally born in Peterborough. How many times have you been born since the original?

  • Steven Roy09/04/2009 at 21:35

Second note to Scott. I noticed the other day on the wiki map your pin was in Burkino Faso. Are you planning a move.

  • guille230609/04/2009 at 21:37

How many times have you been born since the original?

A lot of people say 'I was reborn' after the most varied situations :-)

  • Lukeh09/04/2009 at 21:42

Yay my Brawn/Honda video be done!

    Will upload soon...

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 22:02

On a scale of 1 to incredibly, just how excited were you when Sidepodcast had its first comment?

    Was it from Ollie?

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:03

    Was it from Ollie?

I think it probably was. Let me investigate.

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 22:04

I think it probably was. Let me investigate.

Ollie is just so old skool! It's incredible!

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:07

Looks like the first comment (not including Mr C) was from Neil:

    http://www.sidepodcast.com/2007/01/07/episode-1-season-review-2006-part-1/#comment-5

    The next one was Ollie:

    http://www.sidepodcast.com/2007/01/14/episode-2-season-review-2006-part-2/#comment-8

However, Mr White was commenting back in the days of DailyF1Blog, so he really was there first.

Oh, and I used to call myself chris back then as well... short name, no capital letters. Who does that remind you of? :)

  • RG09/04/2009 at 22:08

Oh, and I used to call myself chris back then as well… short name, no capital letters. Who does that remind you of? :)

    I suspect a conspiracy.

    Mr C = Chris

    Mrs C = Christine

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:09

    I suspect a conspiracy.

Nope. he was 'me' even back then.

  • me09/04/2009 at 22:09

    rcc's guest post now published:

    much goodness.

  • RG09/04/2009 at 22:09

    Alright then

    Mr C = Chris

    Mrs C = me

    Complex I know

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 22:09

Oh, and I used to call myself chris back then as well… short name, no capital letters. Who does that remind you of? :)

Why did you call yourself 'Chris' back then anyway? :)

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:10

Why did you call yourself ‘Chris’ back then anyway? :)

Because I used to want to be called Chris?

  • Mike (aka RCC)09/04/2009 at 22:10

I think i babble on when i write

    nope! i've always preferred christine.

although one member of her close family still calls her chrissie, which is an even bigger no in my book.

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 22:14

Because I used to want to be called Chris?

I have a strange weird thing going on in that a) Katherine has just seen the video and is laughing her head off at me and b) Katherine is called Kat by almost everyone except me (me me not me him). And yeah... More and more these days people are starting to call her Katherine somehow...

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:14

although one member of her close family still calls her chrissie, which is an even bigger no in my book.

    And mine.

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 22:15

although one member of her close family still calls her chrissie, which is an even bigger no in my book.

:D It's the type of name only your family would call you by. :)

Christine, was Chris originally your online handle only? Or was that what people really called you?

  • Christine09/04/2009 at 22:17

Christine, was Chris originally your online handle only? Or was that what people really called you?

I used to want to be called Chris. So... people that liked me would do as I asked and call me Chris, and stubborn people (eh-hem Mr C) would not. In the end, I came round to his way of thinking, and probably because I grew up a bit. Now I like Christine.

yup. this was because the week they vanished saw tons of people leave tons of comments (well, relative to previous comments). one of the key events that formed the sidepodcommunity. :)

two events seemed to galvanise the community. once where we went away for a week and once where we went to silverstone for three days.

someone's trying to tell us something.

  • Journeyer09/04/2009 at 22:29

two events seemed to galvanise the community. once where we went away for a week and once where we went to silverstone for three days.

    agreed.

someone’s trying to tell us something.

    :D

  • Jon Waldock09/04/2009 at 22:30

British GP live commenting was brilliant!

Wasnt that the day we don't mension? or am i thinking about another day?

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 22:30

yup. this was because the week they vanished saw tons of people leave tons of comments (well, relative to previous comments). one of the key events that formed the sidepodcommunity. :)

There was a great comment by famous Twitterer Merlin Mann the other week. He has worked out that because he's quasi famous he gets people following him at a certain rate. But he's annoying enough, he thinks that he gains twitter followers only when he doesn't tweet. When he tweets the followers decrease. He's more annoying than he is popular - he thinks. I like him though. He is Hotdogsladies.

  • me09/04/2009 at 22:31

wish i could keep my own copy of all the podcasts - but i have too little HD space. Oh well - at least someone does it. :D

i think kathi made a torrent of them all, but i'm not sure what happened to it? either way we can't remove 'em even if we wanted too.

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 22:31

Have you people never heard of delete??

    Formula1.com Malaysia vid is up!

  • Andy Taylor09/04/2009 at 22:31

Have you people never heard of delete??

I have. I usually delete things I've listened to due to a lack of disk space.

That also reminds me I have to order a new memory stick as mine died earlier and deleted everything. :s

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 22:32

umm, what day can’t we mention?

Just listening to Episode 2 now. You have got better. Also, it must be so nice not to have to talk about a certain ex-Ferrari driver - the one with the useless brother.

March 30th was the "we're just reporting the fact that somebody is reporting something"

Prime directive number one in the unmentionables stake!

  • Dom09/04/2009 at 22:35

    what happened?

    I can't mention it!

  • Pat W09/04/2009 at 22:35

Do you think that if me gets any more pictures published in F1 Racing that he can insist on them appearing on Page 22? Otherwise Alex will have to buy another domain name.

  • Pat W09/04/2009 at 23:08

pure coincidence really. i blame gavin.

Gavin clearly must have booked his week in the UK to cover the date, and then said oh I can only do the 14th or 15th. Really he could do any day.

  • littlepurplegoth09/04/2009 at 23:09

Most of my family still insist on calling me Andrew. Grrrrrr.

Thankfully my parents deliberately gave me a name that was hard to shorten. Although I did have one friend at college who managed it (he called *everyone* by their first initial, so we were all similarly mistreated, rofl).

On the other hand - The children are all known by short names that are versions of much much longer ones.... well how else are they supposed to know that they are in trouble?

  • Alex Andronov09/04/2009 at 23:09

I really am off now! Night!

it wasn’t his voice. it was his primarily his condescending tone, slow reactions to changing conditions, an inability to contain several thoughts in his head at the same time and difficulty in reading a race while maintaining a conversation.

(catching up)I can't contain several thoughts in my head either, and Legard is better than Allen at commentary. Croft was not good on GP2 but I guess that wasn't his area.

it’s the 15th and we’re celebrating with you guys

I think that theres a Leonardo DV display somewhere in the science museum... it being his birthday and all.

Although the 15th is also recorded as the day that the Wordsworth siblings took a walk near Ullswater, and saw a lot of pretty yellow flowers....

    Can’t believe it only took them 4 months to build their car though. {Commnet #2}

It even surprised Force India - originally they hadn't expected to do any pre-season testing whatsoever...
