It's been quite a manic weekend both on and off track. The Japanese Grand Prix held plenty of surprise, not all of them good. Meanwhile, Sidepodcast Towers began their first weekend of moving house. More next weekend, but until then, here are some of the things we're talking about:
- Massa has been granted permission to get behind the wheel of the F2007 with GP2 tyres bolted on. This is the same kind of testing that Schumacher did to see if he was ready for the big comeback. Schumi wasn't and the chances are Massa won't be either. Ferrari say they are just trying him out in preparation for Bahrain next year. Bit early, no?
- Vettel says he has by no means given up on the championship hunt just yet. He closed up a great deal today, and although the maths does seem to be against him, anything is possible. He did as much as he could do this weekend, anyway, so we'll have to see what happens in Brazil.
- If you want to catch up with us discussing the above two topics and more, then the F1 Debrief live show replay will be up very soon. I'll also be editing the show, hopefully today, but you can understand things are a little delayed due to setting up in our new house. We don't even have the proper internets yet!
That'll do it for now. Please let us know what plans you have for this week, and how you plan to spend the weekend now that we don't have back-to-back racing to contend with. I'll see you in the comments.
