It was Ross Brawn's birthday yesterday, which I missed mentioning thanks to all my moaning about it being Monday. He had quite a good day though, announcing the first of his new drivers. What a way to celebrate the anniversary of your birth! More on that in a moment though. Meanwhile, here's what's on our minds:
- This weekend's live F1 Debrief is now edited and available as a 30ish minute podcast. We discuss all the news we've missed, ask you for help with a few upcoming projects, and talk about the fun and games we had on the Wii over the weekend.
- Rosberg was confirmed as Mercedes first driver, although I say first without knowing whether he is the number one or number two. It really depends on who will line up beside him, and at the moment the discussion seems to keep on coming back to Schumacher. Read all the views and add your own on the breakout thread here.
- A few days ago, Vettel was asked what he thought about Button's move to McLaren and said he was surprised - just as everybody was! He thinks it will be interesting as McLaren are always strong, whilst Mercedes/Brawn will still be strong from their momentum this year. Either that, I suppose, or things will completely turn on their head again.
That's all for now. I'm thinking the guest daily posts will start either next week on Monday, or perhaps at the weekend, depending on the thoughts of those who have already volunteered. If you would like to have a go, you can sign up on the wiki, and there'll be more details along shortly.
