By the end of the weekend all teams will have passed the quarter-mark of the regular season. Thursday night saw another blow out, this time it was the Packers who dispatched the Vikings with ease. Today we start in Carolina where the Chicago Bears are hosted by the Panthers (18:00 Sun – Sky Sports) – these two teams are looking to distinguish themselves in their respective tight divisions. Up next the struggling New York Jets when they travel to play the on form San Diego Chargers (21:25 Sun – Sky Sports) – Chargers’ QB Phil Rivers is widely thought of as the league MVP through 4 weeks, so we can expect another master-class against a poor Jets pass defence. Up last the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals take on the faltering New England Patriots (01:30 Mon – C4) – a tough matchup could be just what the Tom Brady’s Pats need to kick start their season!

Never seen that happen before. Bears punted then flattened the returner before he caught the ball. One of the Panthers picked the ball of the ground and returned it 79 yards for a TD. Bears get a 15 yard penalty on kick off
Evening. Got one ear on the games, back after bathtime.
Bears-Panthers for me on the radio until I can get my LT out. At least 3 TOs already
Cam is having a nightmare - another pick
Having said that it's now all square at 21.
OK I'm back again.
Possible O/T in Carolina
Bears have 2:18 to get a TD to take us to O/T
Bears can't deliver the TD so they lose. Bears 24 Panthers 31
Wow! Didn't think they'd falter
In the end the points difference is the TD they lost at the start for flattening the punt returner before he caught the ball then let the Panthers pick it off the ground and run it back for a TD
Bills about to beat the Lions
Lions second kicked of the season missed what looked like an easy field goal for the lead
Henery better start looking for a new job.
Matt Prater be coming
Sky were making jokes about Detroit needing a third kicker this season soon
Travis Kelce. More fantasy points.
Great pass by Rivers to get nearly 50 yards on 3rd and 9. No yards after the catch
TD Antonio Gates
Jets 0 Chargers 7
Phil Rivers - single handedly saving my fantasy weekend
Just bashed his throwing hand off one of his own linesmen's helmets. Looks OK though
Ouch 0 cheers for the update, I've been ironing shirts for the week
Still throwing well.
Good times - I'll get the radio back up and running in a bit as I finish getting ready for the week - making packed lunches etc
OOPS he just threw an interception in the end zone
Nevermind - just gives Geno the chance to do something similar
Geno delivered on the first play of the drive. Chargers ball pending review
I'm rolling with the Chargers D, so this fumble offsets Rivers' pick just nicely.
Rivers to Gates TD but pulled back for a penalty
That one stands thought!
Rivers to Gates TD
Jets seem like their game plan is put Rivers on the floor as much as possible
He is getting hit far too often
Just seen the 8th tackle of Peyton Manning's career. I think I could have gone through that tackle but it worked for him
Chargers' #3 RB off to the locker-room - pretty sure the next man up is a rookie
Jets fail to secure a first down yet again
Rivers sacked again.
Never seen so many helmets come off as this season. The need to get rid of chin cups. They are worse than useless
Fantastic play by Rivers then Oliver
TD Chargers. On the ground this time. Seem to have discovered a running game
Geno ends the half with a perfect intercepption pass
I'm going to have I call it a night - enjoy the rest of the action.
Night Will^
Michael Vick in the game at the start of the second half
Jim Brady @jimbradysp
I think Rex's biggest decision at this point is whether to use Helvetica or Comic Sans for his resume. #Jets
