Kicking off week 5 are the Cleveland Browns; one of this season’s big surprises, as they look like legitimate contenders in the AFC North, well, for the moment at least; they host the Buffalo Bills. This promises to be a close game (01:25 Fri – Sky Sports). Sunday Night Football begins with the Baltimore Ravens, hoping they can jump start their anaemic-looking offence, taking on the big-spending Miami Dolphins (18:00 Sun – Sky Sports). Up second are the seemingly unstoppable Denver Broncos playing at the Dallas Cowboys (21:25 Sun – Sky Sports). Later the Houston Texans travel to the San Francisco 49ers (01:30 Mon – C4), where the winners are most likely to be whichever team’s QB steps up to the challenge. The final game of the weekend sees the New York Jets at the Atlanta Falcons (01:40 Tues – Eurosport) – the Falcons are desperate to make up for a slow 1-3 start, whereas some might say that the Jets are punching above their weight at 2-2.

If there are any gluttons for punishment not satisfied with the usual 3 back-to-back games on Sundays, then there is some good news for this weekend!

The Chargers @ Raiders game has been moved later... to 0435 (UK) on Monday morning - meaning there is going to be >12 hours of NFL from Sunday evening onwards.

Anyone else around for the early games?

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:07

Anyone else around for the early games?

    I am!

Calvin Johnson is inactive, so in the last day my matchup has swung from heavily favouring me to now heavily favouring Kai.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:08

I haven't looked s my team since week two

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:09

I haven't looked s my team since week two

Hahaha - you'd better hope you've not got Byes this week!

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:09

Pats 3 and out in Cincinnati, Bengals in NE territory, Indy also 3 and out, Seattle close to red zone,. That's what I'm watching.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:09

I'm late to the party, and am yet to decide.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:10

Bengals punt, Seattle to kick an FG

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:11

    I think I'm going for Saints-Bears & Seahawks-Colts

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:11

    3-0 Seahawks

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:13

Ooops - your choices of Garcon and Morris are on Byes (you can still swap them out) and Bradshaw is inactive.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:13

    Brady sacked twice alrready

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:14

    Dalton sacked now

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:22

Shaping up to be a battle of the defenses?

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:23

    Seahawks TD...??

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:24

Missed it, sorry, sorting out my VPS. But yes.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:24

    Pats o-line looking shaky

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:24

Missed it, sorry, sorting out my VPS. But yes.

I only just caught it myself

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:31

    Seahawks safety

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:31

Dalton picked off at the NE 5. Brandon Spikes.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:33

The board accidentally gave the points to the Colts

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:34

    Hahaha

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:36

Ahh a blocked punt - was it a safety or a TD?

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:36

Ahh a blocked punt - was it a safety or a TD?

    Still under review

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:36

Did yuo see in New England's game last weekend, the review booth was broken?

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:36

    Still under review

Ahh yes, thought it had finished.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:36

I think it should be a TD

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:37

Did yuo see in New England's game last weekend, the review booth was broken?

Yup - they were watching Breaking Bad weren't they?

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:37

    but they've given a safety

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:37

Seahawks just need a TD + 2PC and they'll have the set

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:38

Unless you count a free kick field goal

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:38

Seahawks just need a TD + 2PC and they'll have the set

And if you get the full set you automatically win, yes?

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:38

And if you get the full set you automatically win, yes?

    you'd be disappointed to lose!

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:39

Wow, only 11:00 left in second quarter in Cincinnati. Quick stuff

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:39

    Pats have punted four times.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:41

    Pats have punted four times.

The AFC W+S are looking like the strongest divisions in the conference. SHOCK!!

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:44

Congrats on last place in the FantasyF1 btw

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:45

Congrats on last place in the FantasyF1 btw

    Really?! hahaha

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:46

Luck just threw a TD pass that looked like it was going to the moon. 73 yards.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:47

TYHilton is on my bench :(

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:47

    Seahawks D just got burned.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:50

Hawks away from home are far less solid a proposition

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:50

    Blount fumbled. Bengals' ball

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:52

Wilson rushed for 19 yards. He's a great player.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:53

Whereas there's nothing much happening in Saints-Bears 6-0

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:54

Brandon Marshall is being double-covered all day

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:58

    Colts TD... blocked punt

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:58

    Colts TD... blocked punt

    what?!

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:58

    Bengals lead 3-0

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:59

    blocked FG!

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:59

    what?!

Seahawks punt was blocked, caught and taken to the hOuse

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 17:59

so a safety off a punt block and a TD off a blocked FG!

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 17:59

    blocked FG!

    ohh yeah, one of thoise

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 18:00

the Pats game is pretty dull in comparison

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 18:06

advert on American TV for some tablets: "in some cases, Eloquis can be fatal" - might pass.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 18:14

Brilliant goal-line routes drawn up by the Bears - crossing pattern bumps both CBs off their coverage = TD Jefferies.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 18:20

Pats gave Bengals the ball back with 1 minute left. Pats suddenly have 4th & 6?

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 18:21

    Haha - Bungals

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 18:21

    3-3 game.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 18:27

    NO 20 - 7 CHI

Brees is on fire (is he ever not?)

  • Dan Bolton06/10/2013 at 18:30

    Hello.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 18:30

Saints drop 8 into coverage, to prevent a pre-HT hail mary - including Jimmy Graham

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 18:31

    Hello.

    Hey Dan

  • Dan Bolton06/10/2013 at 18:32

My favourite play of the season is still the Chargers tossing it about to each, trying to find that gap.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 18:56

    Bengals lead 6-3. 5:43, 3rd quarter

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:03

Pats' longest drive today: 35 yards.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:09

    I missed a Seattle FG

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:11

Clemons forces a fumble, Seattel first down

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:28

    Colts trail by 2 - TD + failed 2PC

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:28

Bengals lead by 10, we finally got a TD

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:28

No TDs for Brady in the game, so Brees' TD record looking safe

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:34

    13-6. Pats FG

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:36

    Seahawks FG, lead by 5.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 19:57

    Bears successful with a 2PTer.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 19:58

Brady intercepted in a monsoon that appeared inside the two minute warning. Crazy end to a scrappy game.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 20:00

    Colts lead vs Seatytle!

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:01

    Colts lead vs Seatytle!

This game is a great showpiece for Luck and Wilson

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:07

Saints win 26-18 (over the Bears)

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:22

AT&T stadium? I thought they still called it Cowboys Stadium even though it is not the same stadium

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:24

    Colts win.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:40

    Dallas take a 7-0 lead

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:41

    Now begins the Peyton-show.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:42

    Now begins the Peyton-show.

    Good start to it

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:42

    Good start to it

    or not

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:42

    Flagged?

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:44

    Flagged?

    Yep. Holding.

    40 yard pass was overturned

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:44

    40 yard pass was overturned

    Ouch.

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:50

    FUMBLE Decker

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:50

Denver eventually get the first down and no sooner got there than Decker dropped the ball

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:50

    Romo almost screwed that up

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:51

    Romo almost screwed that up

Should've just faked it and continued.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:53

    Incredible play by Romo

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:53

Just showed both sides of Romo in a few minutes

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:53

Romo is the new Big Ben

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 20:56

Dallas about to go 2 TDs up...

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 20:56

This game wasn't supposed to be like this

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:00

Huge pass by Manning but a flag on the play

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:01

    That is more like it

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:03

    3 plays - 50 seconds - TD Denver

Noticed a Cowboy helmet rolling on the ground on the TD play

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:12

The Denver D are not going to get me many points tonight

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:13

Even the flag signal on the data at the top of the TV screen is pink!!

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:15

Sorry, was away for a while. Have Redzone on now.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:16

How long does it take to sack a QB? Romo must have had 10 seconds and coulldn't find anyone to pass to

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:19

I wonder if Peyton will need more than 50 seconds to get a TD this time

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:25

That must have taken a couple of minutes. Broncos 14 Cowboys 17

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:28

Cowboys lose the ball in the first play of the drive. Turnover

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 21:29

I've switched to the absolute radio coverage.

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:31

Is the turnover confirmed? Only saw a replay - Redzone were away at Arizona at the time.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:31

I've switched to the absolute radio coverage.

I haven't come across that before

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:31

Is the turnover confirmed? Only saw a replay - Redzone were away at Arizona at the time.

Oh yes. Broncos have made 3 plays since them

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:32

Oh yes. Broncos have made 3 plays since them

cool. I'm on Gamepass on iPad, so I'm a bit behind. Carolina now lead 6-3.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:32

Cowboys sacked Peyton but overturned for a ridiculous facemask penalty

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:32

Broncos on 22 where I am

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:32

Broncos on 22 where I am

    More like the 8

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:32

    6:45 to go here

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:32

    5:49

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:33

TD Broncos. Can't believe how quickly it has gone from a 4 point Dallas lead to a 4 point Broncos lead

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 21:33

Cowboys sacked Peyton but overturned for a ridiculous facemask penalty

well, can't argue with it really. Can't stand the guy, but it was a blatant foul

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:35

well, can't argue with it really. Can't stand the guy, but it was a blatant foul

It couldn't have been more blatant. He must have known he was never going to get away with that

  • Will^06/10/2013 at 21:35

I haven't come across that before

They have the 2125 game, as the beeb pulled out if nfl.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:43

Pass interference against Dallas #50. Could not be any more blatant. Never looked at the ball and was in the receiver's face for 15 yards

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:44

    Offside Dallas. Another penalty

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:52

Great play by Peyton to run a bootleg for a TD. First running TD in 5 years

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:53

Denver gave Dallas a 14 point start and are 28:17 up and there are still 46 seconds left in the first half

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:55

One reason why Peyton is so good. He just ran in a touchdown and there is no time till half time but he went straight back to the sidline and started looking at photos

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 21:58

Dallas end the half with a 48 yard field goal.

Half time score Denver 28 Dallas 20. Ridiculous considering Dallas led 14 nothing. Denver had 5 possessions in that half and scored 4 touchdowns

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 22:00

I am watching, but I'm also trying to set up my VPS which is proving tricky at the moment!

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:17

Every time they say Moreno I think Marino.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:20

Another Broncos posession = another Broncos TD. 6 possessions 5 TDs

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:27

Fabulous long pass and catch. Defender switched his brain off and Cowboys get a TD. Cowboys coaching staff will be really happy fpr 2 seconds until they realise that means Manning is back on the field again

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 22:29

Fabulous long pass and catch. Defender switched his brain off and Cowboys get a TD. Cowboys coaching staff will be really happy fpr 2 seconds until they realise that means Manning is back on the field again

Surprise onside kick required. Manning will get a TD wherever he gets the ball

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:30

Surprise onside kick required. Manning will get a TD wherever he gets the ball

Unusual onside kick. It went straight therough the end zone

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:31

Commentator just suggested the Cowboys should have thought about the onside kick

  • Noelinho06/10/2013 at 22:33

Commentator just suggested the Cowboys should have thought about the onside kick

haha, I should work for the networks.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:34

Shocking. The Broncos are forced into going for a field goal

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:35

Made the 48 yard field goal. 38-27

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:45

Dallas TD. Going for the 2 point conversion

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:46

Dallas TD. Going for the 2 point conversion

Looks like a very odd decision

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:46

Looks like a very odd decision

Now it looks like a very bad decision.

    Denver 38 Dallas 33

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:49

    Peyton threw an interception.

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:55

Dallas take the lead. Weird game

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 22:56

Coqboys make 2 point conversion this time to take a 3 point lead. This game is turning into an F1 qualifying session.

Last team to have possession will win

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:06

Broncos score a field goal to tie the game. 9 minutes 48 left in the game

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:13

Cowboys go 79 yards on 3rd and 6 to the Denver 3

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:15

    TD Cowboys.

Romo has now thrown for 506 yards today to Peyton's miserable 316

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:24

Broncos score yet another TD. 48-48 with 2:39 on the clock

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:28

Romo sacked for a loss of 6

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:29

Interception on 2nd and 16. Broncos have 1:57 to score from the Dallas 10 yard line

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:31

Broncos on the Dallas 25 not the 10

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:31

One play and they are now on the Dallas 10

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:35

Broncos need a foot for the first down and a yard for the TD. They make the first down. 1 minute 35 to go and DAllas are out of TDs.

I guess the Broncos take a few knees then kick the FG with a few seconds left

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:36

Manning tried to fake the knee and looked like he was going for the bootleg. Lost 4 yards

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:37

4th and goal with 2 seconds to go. Broncos go for the field goal

  • Steven Roy06/10/2013 at 23:40

    Broncos win 51-48

It has to be hard to take to lose after scoring 48 points.

920 yards of passing between the two QBs. 1075 yards of total offence
