I wrote yesterday's thread too early to have the order of play, but I have sussed it out now! Roger Federer will be first on Centre Court, with Clijsters and Djokovic following closely behind. Sharapova will make an appearance on Court 1 playing Pironkova, whilst Heather Watson will be up first on Court 2 for her second round match. Also in action today: Sabine Lisicki, Li Na (Na Li? Never quite figured that out), Kimiko Date-Krumm (who I remember for an awesome match against a Williams), and Sam Stosur. Another great day ahead.

nice, lisicki match on now waiting for the last aussie in stosur to take the court. what a bunch of spuds we have been this year, first time since 1938 no aussie bloke has gone through to the second round at wimbledon, bunch of spuds the lot of them.

Nice to see Watson doing well, and in fashion news I HATE that one shouldered Adidas thing Ana Ivanovic is wearing. The tank and skirt version that Jovanovski is wearing looks much better.

yeah the nadal - djokovic - federer matches are unbelievable and could go either way, cant quite put murray in there yet but he isnt far behind, on his day you never know he might just win, but the other three are just a little ahead right now, id like to see federer but i like all three so when it comes down to it its just going to be awesome to watch when the semis and final is on

Most recent one is Grand slam tennis as far as I'm aware which is good but far too easy. I'd recommend top spin 4.

I should give Grand Slam Tennis a go because I like easy things and I generally like what EA Sports does.
I've only tried to play Top Spin with the Move controller. I am not good with that thing.

definitely. originally i was just going for tennis, but in my initial ballot i applied for 5 other popular things and ended up with a swimming ticket and two tennis tickets. then once the first in first served sales started i figured i might as well fill in the gaps in between. Spent a lot more than I ever planned on but I figure its a once in a lifetime thing so I might as well do it well.
yeah definately, no point missing out, the last thing youd want to do is leave saying why didnt i just do this or go there,it would be an awesome experience, we may actually do alright in the swimming too, might get to cheer home some aussie gold!!!

yeah, but its probably our only sport we can consistantly do well in, and maybe the cycling, so they do get abit carried away with the coverage.
I'm not an Australian but living here I can't complain too much if the coverage is aimed at people who are! It'll be much better this time around for me with Foxtels coverage, I get back a couple of days before the Games finish so I'll have that on 24/7
yeah the foxtel coverage is by far alot better than the commercial coverage on 9 this year i think. i just assumed you were an australian so yeah if you want to see other countries sports there is pretty much no chance especially on free to air, and ten thousand replays of stephanie rice or some other aussie swimmer winning would get pretty annoying, very quickly.
Having seen Channel 9 coverage of cricket, it is laughable. Memorabilia, anyone?
of the 9 medals NZ won in Beijing I managed to see one of them, because there was also an Australian in the final.
I've also never actually ever seen Olympic tennis because it never seemed to get shown when 7 had the rights.

I was watching this Woz match earlier thinking that tennis makes me a terrible person because theres just SO many players that I get a lot of pleasure out of watching lose. It's like theres 10000 Schumachers.
