Hello Wednesday, it’s Gavin writing the daily for you yet again. But it’s not any old Wednesday – it’s Christine’s birthday today! So Happy Birthday Christine, hope you have a Francktastic day ;) What’s been in the news lately?
Daily: 15th June 2010
Another sports-packed day is up ahead as the World Cup rolls on. The group of death is up ahead so the action should be good. But first and foremost, let us return to what has been happening in motor sports and our beloved Formula One:

Aaaaand breathe. My oh my, that is what I call the perfect sporting weekend. In fact, did anyone notice what the weather was like? We covered literally everything here at Sidepodcast, from the F1 in Canada, to the Le Mans 24 Hours in... Le Mans to the World Cup in South Africa. Just fan-tastic. And there was more, rugby union, tennis, all commented on this very site. Shall we move onto the bulletpoints? I think we should.
Daily: 13th June 2010
Hello everyone! It’s Sunday! I’m expecting the daily to be pretty quiet today given the amount of sport that continues over the second day of our weekend. No doubt there’ll be a thread for today’s world cup action, I’m not going to pretend I’m personally very interested in the Football but if you are there is of course a very lively place to live comment it. If you’re like me and not a fan of the football you’ll be searching for alternative sports or links to keep you interested and entertained, and that’s my job today. Let’s get on with the bullet points;

Boo!!! Hope I didn't scare you, Lukeh here 24 hours later than usual to send you into Saturday after I sadly couldn't find the time yesterday to write up the daily. What better way to make up for this than to write today's daily post? There is lots of stuff to be talking about today what with every sport in the world ever created seemingly in action this weekend. OK, maybe not all of them (the mad world of Curling needs a rest here and there I suppose) but let's see nevertheless what the bullet points have to offer.
Daily: 11th June 2010
Surprise! Lukeh is a little tied up at the moment and thus I am here to bring you your daily post for Friday. Can I just say, TGI Friday has never been more appropriate! Last time I wrote a daily, I talked about the many sports we appear to be following, and today seems to be the day it all collides. F1, Le Mans and football. It's gonna be a busy one.
Daily: 10th June 2010
It is Thursday once more, it feels like time is just flying by. Whilst these is a dislike for Thursdays on Sidepodcast it is the last day before what is a weekend full of sport with the Canadian Grand Prix, Le Mans 24 Hours and the start of the World Cup so make the most of this time.
Daily: 9th June 2010
Good day to you, it’s Gavin again, introducing you to Wednesday yet again. But it’s not just any old Wednesday today, oh no – this is the Wednesday before a fantastic weekend of Sport, with Le Mans, F1 and the World Cup all happening, there’s something for everyone...
Daily: 8th June 2010
The countdown to the Montreal GP continues but more importantly (to me at least) is the fact that South Africa 2010 is only 3 days away. And for all fellow tennis-lovers: Wimbledon is starting in less than a week. Or 13 days, to be exact. Despite downshifting, Sidepodcast is now bringing widespread sports coverage to the masses. But moving on to more pressing things like click-able links:
Daily: 7th June 2010
2 years ago, I loved the Canadian Grand Prix. I really do not know why, I mean Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld scored BMW Sauber's first ever win and 1-2, while Timo Glock scored his highest finish at the time in fourth. I just can't think why that was awesome. And so, F1 returns to the land of Ice Hockey and Maple Syrup after a years break. But, that comes later on in the week. In fact, I had no real reason to bring it up for a rather miserable Monday, but its cheered me up. Good times, onto the bulletpoints:
Daily: 6th June 2010
Hey there and welcome to Sunday! It’s been a busy weekend for myself, and I hope you’re all enjoying the weather/ taking it easy and enjoying the F1 free weekend. Just because there is no F1 doesn’t mean there isn’t any motorsport though, the moto gp weekend is in full swing, unfortunately without the talents of a certain Valentino Rossi who was injured in yesterday’s practice session. I’m sure we all wish him a speedy recovery! Aside from the Moto GP you can also catch the exciting French open final at Roland Garros, who are you supporting Soderling or Nadal? And... on with the bullet points;
Daily: 5th June 2010
Hello and welcome to Saturday. Today is World Environment Day which is an international day to raise awareness of... well, the environment, I'm guessing. That being the case, I think it's only fair to mention the panda, don't you? The panda does it's bit for the environment by generally keeping out of the way, and being pretty darn cute. Now, on to the bullet points.

Hello once again to all visiting the wonderful world of Sidepodcast as we enter another Friday. I'm totally not getting deja vu writing my Friday posts up I swear. But it's always a pleasure to bring you guys into the last day of the week and guide you into the weekend. We're getting some glorious weather in the UK right now so I hope you're having a great time wherever you are! Now onto my favourite part of writing a daily - those lovable scamps, the bullet points.
Daily: 3rd June 2010
t is Thursday once more and after missing last weeks daily post due to illness I have returned to hopefully bring you an interesting post once more. Whilst we have no Formula One action this weekend the aftermath of the race in Turkey has left us with a number of news stories, the majority focusing on the Red Bull team.
Daily: 2nd June 2010
Kia Ora Sidepodcast, It’s Wednesday again so time for me to write another daily post. It’s Gavin here and I do hope you are all having a great week. It’s cake day in the canteen at work now, so I always enjoy Wednesdays ;)
Daily: 1st June 2010
It had been an exciting weekend of racing, so now perhaps we can finally catch our breath and discuss the aftermath. Plenty of opinions have been flying around the paddock, as well as here on Sidepodcast, so let us get to it:
Daily: 31st May 2010
Wow-ee. How on earth do you follow a weekend like that, full of dodgy singing, surprisingly good racing and some rather big talking points? Well, I know the right three words to cheer your Monday up, Bank Holiday Monday. Yes, for the second time this month, you can have a lie-in and have a beautiful, relaxing Monday. That is of course unless you don't have it and then I salute you, in working on such a day and for keeping the world ticking. Heroic speech over, to the bulletpoints:
Daily: 30th May 2010
Hey everyone, and welcome to Sunday! I’m not sure about you but I’ve already had a very busy weekend, so I’m pleased it’s a bank holiday in the UK! Today is going to be very busy as well, as we have much to discuss and follow, here are a few things to start with;
Daily: 29th May 2010
Hello, hello, only me. It's Saturday, and that can only mean one thing... time for me to write the daily. I swapped shifts with James last week and then forgot my rescheduled post, so thanks to Mr C for covering. It's always fun to test him, particularly as he is so busy with the iPad this week. Anyway, I am rambling, so I will move on to F1 related goodness...
Daily: 28th May 2010
Happy iPad day to all of those getting an iPad today!! And of course, welcome to another Daily Thread from Lukeh. Yes, after the big release in America a few weeks ago the iPad is finally here in the UK, parts of Europe, Canada and Australia and I’m sure those excited about it are just begging to play along with their new gadget. A few commentors have already had theirs arrive nice and early! Nevertheless, we must return to Formula 1 (although Jake Humphrey has an iPad at Monaco!) and other topics with our nice cuddly bullet points.
