It is Tuesday and we are still talking about the Grand Prix at the weekend, although seemingly not for very good reasons. However there was plenty going on yesterday to keep us going. It won't be like that all off season! Here are some of the things we're discussing:

  • Williams announced their drivers for 2010, including Barrichello amongst them. We had a brokeout thread on this subject, but also Ollie managed to write a post on BlogF1 via a PS3 as his Mac is having some technical difficulties. That's some dedication for you!
  • Dan Brunell has published a summary of the season with a quick run through of everything we witnessed this year in just a few paragraphs. It's a good reminder of what we have seen in a year that's been dominated by controversy.
  • Over on Pitlane Fanatic, Maverick has written about the winner of the final race of the year. For the second GP in a row, the victorious driver has been overshadowed by other goings on, so let's not forget, Vettel did a good job.

That'll do it for now. The edited version of the weekend's F1 Debrief is available to listen to, which should pass some time for you. While you listen, I'll see you in the comments.

I am not going to finish my Abu Dhabi blog it was pretty rubbish (my review that is).

you've forgotten his spells at renault and bmw.

    (From yesterday.)

Oh... I remember. I remember them well. He had a hard time getting a handle on the Renault after the absence and he was out shown by Massa and Heidfeld at Sauber/BMW.

I think the thing I am getting at is why hire Jacques when you can let one of the kids like Summerton or Alexander Rossi drive? (Pending super-licenses of course. If Yuji Ide and any Red Bull development driver can get one, why can't these two?)

I smell a Luca Baoder like performance from Jacques if he came back to be honest. The man has been away for too long.

So to Dan, Steven, and other baseball fans - will the Yankees clinch today?

As much as I hate A-Roid... sorry, A-Rod... I think they will. The depressing normalcy returns to Philadelphia.

with testing so insanely limited this winter, i don't see how he'll have chance to do any better.

especially if the team are late to the grid.

  • Journeyer03/11/2009 at 00:19

Well, they did say Cliff Lee is pitching today, and we saw how excellent he was in Game 1. Can he repeat that performance again today, though? I suspect the Yankees are ready for him this time...

Good baseball story that had me laughing during a committee hearing today.

Knowing stories about A-Rod being a premadonna when he was in Seattle, this doesn't surprise me one bit.

It was a snooze fest. A tax committee hearing on the state manufacturing equipment exemption for environmental remediation equipment. One of the guys who I work with running the meeting didn't know what they hell I was laughing about and got a bit upset.

I sent him that link and all was forgiven. :)

I don't know. Arguing over whether equipment that you purchase to clean up a mess which you created in the first place should be given the exemption when the project is initiated or when it is completed was my little own Webber versus Button fight towards the end of the meeting.

I used to go and place chess with a mate at 1 am when we worked shifts. 2 or 3 hours of that then a half hour drive home.

Do you think doing nothing would really work for you. It could give you way too much thinking time. Work may be tiring but it takes your mind off your problems for a while

pretty good but been crazy busy, dealing with all the admin stuff and meetings. Still living in the hostel but half signed a deal for an apartment of my own. But need to get the money to them before anything is official - obviously enough :) I am enjoying myself though, because i do not have to worry about a second or third language, unless i want to speak to the cleaners, in which case it would be better if i knew spanish.

It makes a big difference once you get settled into your own place.

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 01:37

    Tell me Scott....

When you're going through security at the airport before getting on the plane, leaving Italy, going to somewhere completely and utterly new. Whats going through your mind?

but they have furniture here :) Hopefully in a few days I'll be avoiding the masses in my empty apartment. But this place has been fun - lots of interesting people around. How come you"re awake?

Honestly? Thank (insert expletive) (insert deity of your choice). I was delighted to leave Italy. It had it's moments but I am convinced my life will be better entirely - just being able to communicate beyond basic english means so much to me - so much of my humour relies on sarcasm :)

If Mercedes drop Mclaren, and go over to Brawn, might Mclaren go back to the classic red and white, with their Vodafone sponsorship? I'd like to see that.

Hadn't thought about it. They won't go back to the red and white Marlboro livery but they have Vodafone and Santander who have red as their company colour so red and white is a n option although it is hard to make that look as good as the silver.

that would be cool. I've never really liked the current look - i loved trying to figure out the differences of the two Macs by the color of the struts on the front wing (1995)

I realise they wont go back to the old livery. I was just thinking out loud. It will be interesting to see all the new look cars next year. And we have 3 months to wait. Booo.

i may have also announced to the office that i "used" to love them. Its a half truth. They did look concerned that i knew they are touring aus next year though. Its not normal to be up to date with backstreet movements it seems.

Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me.

Best not tell them about their appearance at the Singapore race then.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 07:13

If Mercedes drop Mclaren, and go over to Brawn, might Mclaren go back to the classic red and white, with their Vodafone sponsorship? I'd like to see that.

I was thinking they might go back to orange... But update it to day glo orange like they updated the silver to chrome...

It would certainly stand out on the tv

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 07:14

It would certainly stand out on the tv

But would clash horribly with Vodafone red.

I was also trying to work out how they could go back to orange

  • Lewis/LB2203/11/2009 at 07:16

If Mercedes drop Mclaren, and go over to Brawn, might Mclaren go back to the classic red and white, with their Vodafone sponsorship? I'd like to see that.

wasn't the red and White there because of Marlboro? Their

classic colours were orange, so that would

be nice. They'd have to drop Vodafone from their livery which ain't gonna happen

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 07:17

It's Katherine and my 7 year anniversary today! eeep :)

    Congratulations!

    Time for more champagne!?

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 07:19

But would clash horribly with Vodafone red.

It would, but i could see vodafone having there logo in blue or white on an orange background if its just for a year.... they did it with football teams... if not white wings with red writting?

  • startledbunny03/11/2009 at 07:26

It would, but i could see vodafone having there logo in blue or white on an orange background if its just for a year.... they did it with football teams... if not white wings with red writting?

White and red maybe, but not blue. Football shirt sponsorship rules are quite strict, the logo has to follow certain guidelines.

I can't see McLaren ditching the silver, even if Mercedes leave.

  • RubberGoat (Gavin Brown)03/11/2009 at 07:28

In other news, I'm still having trouble buying stuff from the McLaren e-shop!

White and red maybe, but not blue. Football shirt sponsorship rules are quite strict, the logo has to follow certain guidelines.

I can't see McLaren ditching the silver, even if Mercedes leave.

    Why would they keep it?

I think the fact they unveiled their supercar in orange instead of silver was very telling...

  • startledbunny03/11/2009 at 07:40

    Why would they keep it?

I know, but they have such an iconic colour scheme right now.

However, I was surprised when they changed the colours from Red and White after the 1996 season, so I could have got it wrong.

They may test their new car in orange, they've done that before.

It's not that bad... It's not like we're looking at the video of Steven Roy and trying to guess his age.

    (nobody actually do this)

I am off to work soon, but I have a sidepodrequest.

Does anybody have the PDFs from the Japanese GP this year for the following: Race Classification, Race Fastest Laps, Race Lap Chart?

I was doing a sort-of World Championship League table, which incorporated qualifying, race, fastest laps, lap leaders etc when I lost interest around the time Fisichella switched teams(it made the automated calculations a bit messy. i'm using excel, i'm old school, what can I say?). I missed the 2 weeks where I could have got them downloaded. I would like to get it finished in the off-season. If anybody has them and can send them to me, I will be eternally grateful :)

    See you all later

I mean it worked really well for the three of us on the show... You couldn't actually hear any of it. But that's a small detail ;)

It wouldn't be a Parade Lap without some type of calamity. I have so far introduced small children and cars just to keep the likelihood up ;)

Yeah it was okay. Apart from that someone then didn't turn up for their shift and I ended up having to do the close.

I'm determined that this is going to be a real day off though.

"Oh well now's not a good time, I'll phone you tomorrow"

Yeah. If you don't have time, don't bring it up. Or at least give me a rough idea of what it's regarding! At work people schedule meetings and phonecalls with me all the time and that's not stressful.

"I'd like to arrange a meeting to discuss....." Solves many woes.

Agreed. When my Wife texts to ask me to ring her, I panic a little, even if she says it's not important.

It's usually something related to the tv not working, (mainly due to cats and their love of wires).

  • Stuart C03/11/2009 at 10:47

    Morning all.

Yeah. If you don’t have time, don’t bring it up. Or at least give me a rough idea of what it’s regarding!

I'm sure there's a piece of PR jargon to describe this phenomenon (announcing that there is going to be an announcement, so that by the time the announcement comes people have speculated themselves into a state of abject boredom about whatever is to be announced), but I can't remmember what it is.

In other news, I think the Red Bulletin is being bundled with the Independent today – and if it is, it's got something by me in it. If not, it'll soon be up on the RB website. Maybe.

Wasn’t that Webbo in the flipped Merc?

Yes. Poor fellow actually flipped twice in all.

Didn’t more than one flip (over the whole event, not just the race)?

Yes. There were at least three flips. Webber went up and over first, very early in one of the practice sessions. The TV cameras didn't pick it up, and the photographer I mentioned above, who actually saw it, wasn't shooting at the time (he may have been changing film - remember that?). Webber went over again in a later session and a DPPI photographer caught it. Merc then had to cease denying that it had occured. They phoned Adrian Newey and he suggested fitting dive planes to the nose, or pulling the cars entirely.

They fitted the dive planes and briefed the drivers not to follow other cars too closely, but Dumbreck was catching a Toyota, and because he hadn't had much time in the car he didn't know how close was too close.

Stuart, any idea what Toyota will announce on Sunday?

Although it's been said that Joe S has got the hump over having to give his Prius back, his blog post on Toyota's future in F1 is a very accurate assessment of the situation.

    And here's the article about F1: http://drop.io/sidepodcast/asset/photo-326

which isn't by Stuart. The index at the front doesn't mention who wrote the articles... Silly Index. So I just looked for any F1 related ones I could find.

Bless Mr Flanders, putting the team first always:

"I certainly have the option to stay with BMW with the other racing programmes. But I deliberately pushed the decision out of my way until the final race, so I will decide in the coming weeks.

From Joe: The future of Mario Theissen

I find it very curious that we seem to be discussing this at a time when Toyota's F1 future is in doubt and Sauber may get back in. This probably came about as a result of Dr. Mario's statement earlier today, but they all seem to be connected.

Okay I'm thinking about what I'm actually doing. Basic plans would be to travel down on Fri afternoon once I've had a meeting in the morning. I'm probably coming back up maybe the following Saturday. Tbh though things are very fluid and they could tell me at said meeting that they don't want me to go.

What kind of drug enhances your driving performance? It's not like steroids are going to help you.... Weight loss drugs or amphetamines or something crazy? I can't see how most things could ever help? If you're going to have mental drug testing rules, and someone's broken them, at least have a sensible penalty!

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 18:31

The first turn would be downhill to the hairpin if they reversed it.

Next Sunday is November 15th, which is when Toyota have their budget meeting. Somebody will leak it within that meeting whether Toyota are staying or going.

they can't actually leave though can they? they're tied by concorde.

surely qadbak can only get the final slot if a new team bails?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:31

Schumacher sounds like he will never race again. Says he was irrational to think about a comeback.

14th team, thats the idea behind it.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:31

surely qadbak can only get the final slot if a new team bails?

    They could buy toyota.

Im surprised torro rosso are still there to be fair...

  • RG03/11/2009 at 19:32

    They could buy toyota.

    They've already bought BMW though

  • rowley03/11/2009 at 19:33

surely qadbak can only get the final slot if a new team bails?

Toyota can leave when they want.

It';s just that the Concorde agreement puts a big penalty on teams that leave.

Think in the region of 50 million dollar.

  • Adie03/11/2009 at 19:33

Im surprised torro rosso are still there to be fair...

I thought they had been unofficially for sale for the last year or so?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:33

they can't actually leave though can they? they're tied by concorde.

Toyota can afford the fee to get out of that or they may announce that they have sold the team to David Richards who was in Abu Dhabi

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:33

    They've already bought BMW though

oops i meant there entry, i guess toyota will keep hold of the facility

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:34

Don't be daft. It's all good.

    Daft? ... never!

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 19:35

    Daft? ... never!

I really shouldn't have said that though. Aside from some casual references to imprisonment earlier, you've been stupidly nice to me.....

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:36

Toyota can afford the fee to get out of that or they may announce that they have sold the team to David Richards who was in Abu Dhabi

Could he afford to run it?

I think an english team would suit his needs more.

And if he just buys the entry it would probably be too late to develop ca car... although it would solve the Lola mystery...

  • Gavin Brown (RubberGoat)03/11/2009 at 19:36

Although it does add comedy potential, see: Abu Dhabi GP, 2009 :D

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:40

Could he afford to run it?

He always has lots of backing. He has a lot of contacts in the middle east going back 20 odd years. It was his middle east backers who helped him set up his first business.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:40

I see the Mercedes brawn ad is running on the autosport website...

I still think the lack of merc branding and brawn in ads was more due to honda than mclaren

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:41

Its possible, but toyota would be the worst team to buy.

Even if you got it free it would cost a fortune to restructure the company and make it viable

  • RG03/11/2009 at 19:43

Its possible, but toyota would be the worst team to buy.

If Toyota are bought and are allowed in next year, I'm not gonna be happy. How comes we sold off the team, had to go through a process where we lost out to Louts and then have another team withdraw only to be bought out, but be allowed to stay.

If they withdraw, they should become the new 14th team if they find a buyer.

  • Adie03/11/2009 at 19:44

If they withdraw, they should become the new 14th team if they find a buyer.

I agree with that sentiment actually.

Because they signed the Concorde Agreement and therefore have an entry

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:46

If they withdraw, they should become the new 14th team if they find a buyer.

Im sure people would love that to be true, but they signed the concorde and entered to race next year. BMW just sulked.

  • rowley03/11/2009 at 19:46

If they withdraw, they should become the new 14th team if they find a buyer.

Asking prize for the team can then be about halved.

  • Adie03/11/2009 at 19:46

I don't think it would - we've seen with Brawn what can be done - exceptional circumstances obviously.

However, Technical ability is not in question at Toyota - the way it's managed is.

  • RG03/11/2009 at 19:46

Im sure people would love that to be true, but they signed the concorde and entered to race next year. BMW just sulked.

I'm going back to the 'I hate the way F1 does stuff' again.

Also are sauber still developing next year's car?

  • RG03/11/2009 at 19:48

Also are sauber still developing next year's car?

Might be, don't have the foggiest idea.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:49

However, Technical ability is not in question at Toyota - the way it's managed is.

We saw them make progress when Mike Gascoyne was there until he was muzzled. They just need a less restrictive management.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:50

Also are sauber still developing next year's car?

They are bound to be. The only alternative is they are all standing about doing nothing which would impress no-one

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:51

They are bound to be. The only alternative is they are all standing about doing nothing which would impress no-one

    Is anyone paying them too?

Didnt we hear that the qadbak deal is dependent on them getting a gridslot?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 19:53

    Is anyone paying them too?

BMW is still paying the bills and they are not going to pay people to stand about and do nothing

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 19:55

You have to wonder how long for though...

  • Adie03/11/2009 at 19:58

Is your oldest podcast newer than three months old?

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:04

    Morning everyone :)

It's Katherine and my 7 year anniversary today! eeep :)

    Congrats to both!

I'm planning too - I have a few plans. However people, comments keep bloggers happy! (Or they do with me)...Don't make us feel unloved :(

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:16

I'm very very very confused. Something on my computer is making the doohickey comment noise but it's definitely not the doohickey! It's more than a little alarming.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:16

I had a Groundhog Day moment in the archive. Opening a copy of a certain MAGAZINE from July 1987, I beheld the headline "Ecclestone reopens British GP controversy". Has it really been going on this long? And will it never end?

Blimey, I was thinking it started a decade later, turns out that was only when I started paying attention.

    well, he's not immortal...

    Are you sure?

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 20:17

And there was me thinking you were turning over a new leaf.

I have done more than that!

I have replanted the tree (for now at least ;) )

I'm planning too - I have a few plans. However people, comments keep bloggers happy! (Or they do with me)...Don't make us feel unloved :(

I agree they very much do. As both blogger and reader though, I'm struggling to find the time. I do need this off season.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:19

I have replanted the tree (for now at least ;) )

When you get a house out there you definitely have to plant a real tree. I have a tree in my garden at home but it's going to have to be cut down. I'm very distressed about it. It's been there since I was a child. It's a Christmas tree which only makes it more upsetting. Now I'm wary of planting things unless I have to chop them down too.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 20:21

Noooo I know you've not made actual arrangements. Your mind sounds very made up though. Are you just still drunken? Maybe London will make you love it again when you go back?

    Im completly sober.

This place makes me happy, its not perfect, its not the best place in the world, but life hear is at a pace i like, and I know whats what.

Being back here i realised i never really liked london, i just like the idea of it, and a lot of places in it.

This is where i want to be, for the moment anyhow, maybe london in the future, but for now...

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:31

Half the reason I get behind though is that sometimes the thought of listening to something is not appealing at all. At other times it is purely being too busy. I need to be in the mood for things to pay attention. I went through and had a mass delete of things that I just am never going to find time for.

I usually catch up on podcasts when I head to London on the train for work. It's a 4 hour round trip so a lot of the SPC stuff keeps me sane.

I liked the Sidepodpanel from a while ago where you were all doing Kimi impressions.

Not done that route for a while so I had a backlog build up of other stuff - had a mass purge recently too.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:34

Read the rest of the sentance!

I can't. I go to look and all I can see is that it's just a tree.....

It's got way too tall, it's taller than the 3 story Victorian house now. It was about the height of my dad when we moved into the house. Whoever thought a fir tree was a suitable garden tree wasn't very clever tbh, I just had no idea how tall it would get though.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:34

I agree but I haven't done a deletion yet, I may do. I don't like having things just 'on' in the background, unless it is music. Much of my backlog is Midweek Motorsport which at 2hrs a pop is a bit of a commitment.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:35

I do like it, i just dont LOVE it.

I find this so hard though. Maybe it's just because I don't live there anymore. I know I'll go back though and I really hope I love it. I'll cry for a long-time if I only like the idea of it.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:36

That didn't make any sense. It did to me. I just mean that as a place it's so idealised for me. I moved out before I started to hate it. I really REALLY want to go back and I don't know how I'll get over it if I don't like it.

Oh my god. You cannot be moaning about only having a 10 minute drive to work! You must have plenty more free time in your home then....

    Walk?

You've never been to the Middle East have you? The temperature is over 40 degrees, so they don't bother walking!

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 20:44

We? I'm not coming to Dubai for beer....

    Bassano probably would though :P

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:44

There's definitely podcast time while commenting! I'm currently listening to a Friday night comedy from September. It's become a little less topical....

Often I can't be bothered or am watching telly, listening to music, whatever. I'm in my second week of podcast catch-uppery (one a day Mon-Fri, more if they are shorter). MWM no.32 from end of July.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 20:45

What's the problem? It follows logically in the conversation!

What's the problem? It follows logically in the conversation!

I'm being hassled just because I responded before I'd read another comment? Since when as that mattered?

Waaaah! See specific questions aren't good right now either. I've spoken to my friend. He didn't help me at all. He was very come when you want, stay as long as you want, do what you want which doesn't really help me narrow things down.

When something is brought forward, they say it has been "preponed"as in the opposite of postponed...

I like that. It reminds me of something that happened at the first GP at Suzuka. One journalist spotted a bunch of fans with identical jackets on each with a big sign on the back saying "Racing Worms". Eventually curiosity got the better of him and he asked why racing worms. He was told that it was because they loved racing. They eventually explained that they knew people who loved books were bookworms so if they loved racing they must be racing worms.

In the early series' I think there were just the two teams that had a variety of challenges over the season. I was quite a small child though. I'm not really sure who specifically you're talking about.

Hopefully you will find a new team in a year or 2 RG, untill then you will have Timo...

You will also have the memories of supporting an awesome team of the past... Thats not a consolidation, Hopefully they will be there next year in some way...

I can't choose favourites at anything. I seem to have a favourite driver but I'm torn because I was happy that Jenson got the WC even though it was my favourite that he won it over. I'm just too indecisive in all walks of life I think. I want to like everyone.

Except Mark Webber. He has enough people who like him already though. He's apparently *universally liked* I don't think I've met or spoken to anyone else who doesn't like him.

    Bye sir.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:04

You will have a drink of your choice and wear a frock ;)

This doesn't work for me. The heat has obviously gone to your head but we have hail storms. Are you wanting me to die?

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 22:04

    Sounds Welsh enough to me....

I can assure you it's not welsh enough!

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:04

    Goodnight everyone.

    night...

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:04

Is everyone Welsh from now on?

    Forever and ever amen.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:08

You will have a drink of your choice and wear a frock ;)

You can't go leaving Alison to make her own decisions. You should decide what she drinks. :)

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:08

You can't go leaving Alison to make her own decisions. You should decide what she drinks. :)

Oh god. You really are trying to kill me.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:09

    *...and wear a cape

Capes are a bad idea ( see The Incredibles for proof)

  • Lewis/LB2203/11/2009 at 22:09

    aaaah nosebleed...

it's gone now - goodnight everybody, Wednesdays coming - 3 days to the weekend...

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:10

Oh god. You really are trying to kill me.

I am just saving you from indecision. It's up to you to save yourself fro Nick, Bassano and Giggles

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:10

it's gone now - goodnight everybody, Wednesdays coming - 3 days to the weekend...

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:10

it's gone now - goodnight everybody, Wednesdays coming - 3 days to the weekend...

I'm liking that optimistic thinking. Night.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:10

    White wine. Sauvigion Blanc

    Thats neither adventurous or exciting

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:11

Night to everyone who just left.

I have often wondered why people leave here in batches

  • Lewis/LB2203/11/2009 at 22:11

    ...weekend tomorrow here! night!

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:11

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:12

She said she had wine a while back, i am trying to avoid complaints here ;)

Ah. Something nicer than Sauvigion. Blue Nun perhaps.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:13

    ...weekend tomorrow here! night!

Actually it isnt, but it used to be...

still holiday mode = weekend every day.

And i get to go to a corporate dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant...

...hopefully my expectations will be exceeded

  • me03/11/2009 at 22:13

    ...weekend tomorrow here! night!

    DRINK!

  • me03/11/2009 at 22:14

I have often wondered why people leave here in batches

i think people forget they can leave.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:14

Ah. Something nicer than Sauvigion. Blue Nun perhaps.

perhaps, but that opens me up to complaints, best keep it simple :P

I dont know why, when or how i agreed to do all this!!!

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:14

She said she had wine a while back, i am trying to avoid complaints here ;)

    SHE?

A very polite choice. I'm flattered.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:14

    Theres an exit button?

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:15

    now what do i do?

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:15

    now what do i do?

    DRINK ?

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:15

I dont know why, when or how i agreed to do all this!!!

You just started to organise. You asked Bassano without me even mentioning it. Since then it's become clear that you want to organise. I'm not having any arguments!

  • me03/11/2009 at 22:15

    Theres an exit button?

    very well hidden.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:16

    Theres an exit button?

Perhaps it should be added to the site redesign.

  • me03/11/2009 at 22:16

    Half a drink?

i already had it. that would make one and a half.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:16

    now what do i do?

    I say a penalty DRINK

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:16

    now what do i do?

    Undrink the last few drinks

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:17

    very well hidden.

Up the top of the doohickey where it says "go" ?

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:17

    now what do i do?

    DRINK ?

Thgis would seem like the only logical soloution...

But i should get a freebie too ;)

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:17

So does anyone have any ideas for new shows for sidepodradio 2? You can even volunteer someone else to do a show they would be good at.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:18

Up the top of the doohickey where it says "go" ?

You're using IE? Shun the non-believer....

    Um, no. FF

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:19

    Um, no. FF

I have no go button :(

There is a white box, in the grey sidpodcast banner

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:20

    Voluntarily?!!!

Can I just take the go button? :(

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:20

    Voluntarily?!!!

Same here. Only Firefox does what I want it to.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:21

    Sidepodspace "Nuke them from orbit"

Sounds more like a movie than a radio show

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:23

Sounds more like a movie than a radio show

    Um.

    Sidpodcooking "this time two muffins!"

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:23

There is a white box, in the grey sidpodcast banner

Oh I see it now. I can't get the search to find things properly. I'm not very technically adept.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:23

    Sidpodcooking "this time two muffins!"

I think it could be time for a full cake... :P

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:24

    Sidpodcooking "this time two muffins!"

I think we need to get Mr C to do something more challenging than cakes but I am not sure what.

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:24

I think we need to get Mr C to do something more challenging than cakes but I am not sure what.

    Beef Korma.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:25

I think it could be time for a full cake... :P

    You could bake an exemplar!

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:25

If toyota pack it in where does that leave kobyashi?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:25

Is the Parade Lap replay up? I can't get it to play and I can't get dropio to open. I think this computer needs a rest or to be thumped.

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 22:25

If toyota pack it in where does that leave kobyashi?

Working with his father in a sushi cafe, according to an interview he did

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:25

    You could bake an exemplar!

    Only after you paper mache!

I have cooked a lot of things, but i dont think i have ever baked a full on cake

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:26

    Beef Korma.

Great idea. That should fill an hour so only 11 more hours to fill.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:26

If toyota pack it in where does that leave kobyashi?

Without a drive. Toyota is his only sponsor

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:26

Working with his father in a sushi cafe, according to an interview he did

You dont think he has done enough?

Only 2 races, but some potential there

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:27

If toyota pack it in where does that leave kobyashi?

    making sushi

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:27

    Only after you paper mache!

    Grrrrr!

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:27

    Only after you paper mache!

Alison can do a show on paper mache. That would work on radio

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:27

    Beef Korma.

    :-)

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:27

    Beef Korma.

You'd need to make Sidepodradio 2 a dedicated cooking show. I'm not sure Christine can cope with more than an hour though.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:27

    Beef Korma.

    That is so wrong!

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:27

Great idea. That should fill an hour so only 11 more hours to fill.

Possibly a wine show, the way tonight is going.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:28

Great idea. That should fill an hour so only 11 more hours to fill.

If he gets a stir-in sauce it should theoretically take 20-25 minutes...

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:28

You'd need to make Sidepodradio 2 a dedicated cooking show. I'm not sure Christine can cope with more than an hour though.

I'm liking that you think Mr C could get that done in an hour. He took an hour to get muffins sorted.....

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:28

You'd need to make Sidepodradio 2 a dedicated cooking show. I'm not sure Christine can cope with more than an hour though.

I imagine 12 hours of Mr C cooking could cause her to jump out of the window and on Rockall that can be dangerous.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:28

If he gets a stir-in sauce it should theoretically take 20-25 minutes...

I dont think loud cooking is the way to go!

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:29

I'm liking that you think Mr C could get that done in an hour. He took an hour to get muffins sorted.....

    Regular hourly updates?

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:29

I dont think loud cooking is the way to go!

    What's loud cooking?

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:30

Possibly a wine show, the way tonight is going.

I'm not a wine expert. I've spent far too many years necking Asda smart price wine to be allowed to judge anything.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:30

    What's loud cooking?

Frying is relatively loud, quite hash on mics...

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:30

I'm liking that you think Mr C could get that done in an hour. He took an hour to get muffins sorted.....

But that was because he sniffed something that was very bad for his nose because it didn't have a do no sniff label on it. And some of us criticise F1 safety.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:30

I'm not a wine expert. I've spent far too many years necking Asda smart price wine to be allowed to judge anything.

    Classy :P

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:30

Frying is relatively loud, quite hash on mics...

Have you taken to excitedly mashing on the keyboard again?

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:30

If he gets a stir-in sauce it should theoretically take 20-25 minutes...

Have you listened to the original show?

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:31

    Regular hourly updates?

Don't know what I'm saying. Regular and hourly. Not like they can't not be hourly and irregular.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:31

    Classy :P

Oh yeah.... I'd prefer to explain it away as near bankruptcy.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:32

Have you taken to excitedly mashing on the keyboard again?

I thought i would get away with that! :P

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:32

Have you listened to the original show?

I think that should be 200-250 minutes

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:32

But that was because he sniffed something that was very bad for his nose because it didn't have a do no sniff label on it. And some of us criticise F1 safety.

    LPG suggests Pizza.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:32

    LPG suggests Pizza.

Then they could order in muffins.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:32

    LPG suggests Pizza.

Past trauma may rule that out... ;)

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:33

Past trauma may rule that out... ;)

    Mmmmm cancer.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:33

Frying is relatively loud, quite hash on mics...

Atmosphere and it's only a few minutes.

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:33

    LPG suggests Pizza.

That took hours just to order last time

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:34

    LPG suggests Pizza.

He doesn't know how to order pizza let alone make it. That could be good. LPG now knows the amount of instruction he needs.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:34

Have you listened to the original show?

    I said theoretically :-)

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:34

Then they could order in muffins.

    :D

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:35

Aaaahnd on that note, see you all later. Early finish tomorrow = Happier RG. Night all. lotsa love.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:35

He doesn't know how to order pizza let alone make it. That could be good. LPG now knows the amount of instruction he needs.

This is true, he also admitted to once trying to cook a ready-made pizza without removing the plastic wrapping.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:35

    Night RG

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 22:35

    I heart this.

    That is all

  • RG03/11/2009 at 22:35

Aaaahnd on that note, see you all later. Early finish tomorrow = Happier RG. Night all. lotsa love.

I also don't know what note I finished on

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:36

I also don't know what note I finished on

    A Welsh note?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:36

This is true, he also admitted to once trying to cook a ready-made pizza without removing the plastic wrapping.

I like the idea of pizza. It may take a while to decide the toppings if the pizza ordering is anything to go by

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:36

    I heart this.

    That is all

Struck a nerve have we? :D

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:37

I like the idea of pizza. It may take a while to decide the toppings if the pizza ordering is anything to go by

Toppings will be pre-defined in the ingredients list.

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:38

Toppings will be pre-defined in the ingredients list.

    No mushrooms, clearly. Pineapple optional

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 22:41

    No mushrooms, clearly. Pineapple optional

    Agreed

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:43

I can't wait to see Mr C's reaction when he finds out what we have planned for him.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:43

I can't wait to see Mr C's reaction when he finds out what we have planned for him.

I might need 20 years to mentally prepare myself.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:44

Niiiick does it have to be this weekend? Can it be next week?

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 22:45

I might need 20 years to mentally prepare myself.

Him? Think of the pain it will cause Christine ;)

  • James03/11/2009 at 22:45

I can't wait to see Mr C's reaction when he finds out what we have planned for him.

put it on the wiki, then he can't bury it.

  • Jeremy03/11/2009 at 22:45

    No mushrooms, clearly. Pineapple optional

I also agree. Cabanossi, pepperoni, salami, bacon and barbeque sauce on a thin and crispy base. Cheese usually helps :-)

PS. This is my regular designer order from online Dominos.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:46

Niiiick does it have to be this weekend? Can it be next week?

    Hehe, its your event!

I am clearly free whenever ;)

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:47

I am clearly free whenever ;)

You do know you're not invited? You're just the host....

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 22:47

I am clearly free whenever ;)

So you didn't pick up an option with Renault?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:47

Niiiick does it have to be this weekend? Can it be next week?

You ask him to make a decision then argue when he does

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:48

I also agree. Cabanossi, pepperoni, salami, bacon and barbeque sauce on a thin and crispy base. Cheese usually helps :-)

I saw an add today for a pizza which appeared to be 75% cheese...

Stuffed crust, lumps of cheese for topping and regular amount of cheese on top of that...

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:48

You ask him to make a decision then argue when he does

    Absolutely. A woman's prerogative.

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:48

You ask him to make a decision then argue when he does

    I am glad somone noticed!

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:51

put it on the wiki, then he can't bury it.

I have changed the section at the bottom of the page to show suggestions and added Live Pizza Cooking

I've just realised that Pizza has an F1 connection even more tenuous that LPG's muffin recipe.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:52

I've just realised that Pizza has an F1 connection even more tenuous that LPG's muffin recipe.

You could write something F1 related with the toppings?

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 22:52

You could write something F1 related with the toppings?

    Nope

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:52

You do know you're not invited? You're just the host....

    oh dear.

I fear i must prepare for sleep now...

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:54

    oh dear.

Awwww :( You might be allowed to come if you behave yourself.

    Night.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 22:54

I've just realised that Pizza has an F1 connection even more tenuous that LPG's muffin recipe.

    It's Italian like Ferrari?

  • Nick03/11/2009 at 22:56

Awwww :( You might be allowed to come if you behave yourself.

    hehe, right... :P

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 22:57

Hey I was giving you some sympathy. You don't want it that's up to you.....

  • Alex Andronov03/11/2009 at 22:58

Evening all. Sounds like Joe thinks Toyota are out...

  • Jeremy03/11/2009 at 22:59

Awwww :( You might be allowed to come if you behave yourself.

I hope you two are going to get someone to live stream the snogging session at the end of this night out.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:00

    It's Italian like Ferrari?

No. I was thinking of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4Q_9VYU9FE

Evening all. Sounds like Joe thinks Toyota are out...

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:01

Hi Alex. Are you not supposed to be celebrating rather than commenting?

  • Jeremy03/11/2009 at 23:02

Hi Alex. Are you not supposed to be celebrating rather than commenting?

Perhaps Microsoft are sponsoring his anniversary?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:02

Evening all. Sounds like Joe thinks Toyota are out...

They are having a 4 day board meeting? They really don't do quick decisions.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:04

They are having a 4 day board meeting? They really don't do quick decisions.

They probably have a slightly bigger agenda than:

    Apologies

    Approval of previous minutes

Discussion of F1 Future in 2010

    Any Other Business

    Date of Next Meeting.

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:05

They probably have a slightly bigger agenda than:

    They need to employ you

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:07

    They need to employ you

Thanks for the compliment. I estimate that my revised agenda should take about half an hour, with refreshment breaks.

  • Alex Andronov03/11/2009 at 23:12

Hi Alex. Are you not supposed to be celebrating rather than commenting?

    oops!

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:12

Thanks for the compliment. I estimate that my revised agenda should take about half an hour, with refreshment breaks.

If they won't employ you, you can come chair the society council meetings. They drag.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:13

    oops!

How do you feel about Mr C cooking pizza on sidepodradio 2?

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 23:13

Evening all. Sounds like Joe thinks Toyota are out...

So Sauber are back in then?

  • Alex Andronov03/11/2009 at 23:13

Perhaps Microsoft are sponsoring his anniversary?

a paperclip appeared and said, "you look like you are attempting to celebrate your 7 year anniversary, would you like some help with that"?

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:14

    My life is now complete....

    The lifts have Wifi.

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:14

    The lifts have Wifi.

    Best lifts ever?

  • Alex Andronov03/11/2009 at 23:15

How do you feel about Mr C cooking pizza on sidepodradio 2?

    Danger! Danger!

    Fire! Fire! Fire!

We may need the top gear safety team on standby.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:15

a paperclip appeared and said, "you look like you are attempting to celebrate your 7 year anniversary, would you like some help with that"?

Nooooooo. You know he's gone now, the annoying paperclip?

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:15

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:16

How do you feel about Mr C cooking pizza on sidepodradio 2?

    WHAT??

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:16

I hope you two are going to get someone to live stream the snogging session at the end of this night out.

    You are officially odd

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:16

    *runs*

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:17

    WHAT??

I was bored so I asked people for show suggestions. Seems like we have to sort out yur cookery show before anyone can think of anything else. LPG suggested pizza so it is a done deal.

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 23:18

    WHAT??

Could be worse. It started out as Beef Korma.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:18

a paperclip appeared and said, "you look like you are attempting to celebrate your 7 year anniversary, would you like some help with that"?

WARNING - this clip contains LOTS of rude words (actually the same rude word repeated over and again)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ifleu0VVAc0

    It's still damn funny.

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 23:19

    Danger Danger..

    Wil Robinson?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:19

I should point out that someone who shall remain nameless suggested a 12 hour cooking marathon with hourly updates but we decided that would be too cruel on Christine.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:20

I was bored so I asked people for show suggestions. Seems like we have to sort out yur cookery show before anyone can think of anything else. LPG suggested pizza so it is a done deal.

LPG actually suggested pizza or sushi. I thought pizza would be better.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 23:20

    Wil Robinson?

    :D

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:20

LPG actually suggested pizza or sushi. I thought pizza would be better.

Sushi? He could poison someone with that.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:20

I should point out that someone who shall remain nameless suggested a 12 hour cooking marathon with hourly updates but we decided that would be too cruel on Christine.

how can they remain nameless when Mr C can just look back through the comments?

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 23:20

I hope you two are going to get someone to live stream the snogging session at the end of this night out.

    You are officially odd

I must be too because I nearly suggested they get a room..

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:21

Oooh. Horizon are doing a program on black holes now.

  • Pat W03/11/2009 at 23:21

    It's still damn funny.

Always loved that one... stupid paperclip, one of the most annoying things ever devised

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:23

Sushi? He could poison someone with that.

That would be Sashimi made with Fugu fish. That's not going to happen.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 23:24

I must be too because I nearly suggested they get a room..

    My apologies.

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:24

i LOVE that it has green tyres :)

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:33

I should point out that someone who shall remain nameless suggested a 12 hour cooking marathon with hourly updates but we decided that would be too cruel on Christine.

can't i do something else? i'm in danger of getting typecast here.

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:33

i LOVE that it has green tyres :)

I'm sure bridgestone execuitives are shaking hands, patting backs and drinking wine now ;)

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:34

can't i do something else? i'm in danger of getting typecast here.

what would you like to do Mr C, not that you have to choose right now? :)

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 23:34

can't i do something else? i'm in danger of getting typecast here.

    Tour of Rockall?

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:34

can't i do something else? i'm in danger of getting typecast here.

I am sure people would be open to suggestions but your cooking programs have a fanbase

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:35

what would you like to do Mr C, not that you have to choose right now? :)

i dunno. but i did cooking.

there are plenty of other things i'm rubbish at.

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:35

    Tour of Rockall?

"So here's the really big rock, and there's the other side. That's Rockall, I hope you enjoyed it"

Although I can somehow see that lasting for 45 minutes ;)

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:35

I am sure people would be open to suggestions but your cooking programs have a fanbase

That goes far wider than F1 fans.

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:35

"So here's the really big rock, and there's the other side. That's Rockall, I hope you enjoyed it"

Although I can somehow see that lasting for 45 minutes ;)

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:36

    oi!

Just saying! LPG's words herself were it's a 15 minute recipe!

    #blameLPG

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:37

i dunno. but i did cooking.

there are plenty of other things i'm rubbish at.

aww. I don't know why ideas for you are coming up considering there is no date for Sidepodradio 2.

  • Steven Roy03/11/2009 at 23:40

aww. I don't know why ideas for you are coming up considering there is no date for Sidepodradio 2.

Once we get some shows sorted out the date will take care of itself. There is no point setting a date when there are no shows.

  • Jon Waldock03/11/2009 at 23:40

    Ruben's son drew this :) http://twitpic.com/o6h7f

    AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:40

Just saying! LPG's words herself were it's a 15 minute recipe!

It is a 15 minute recipe.

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:40

It is a 15 minute recipe.

    :)

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:41

Once we get some shows sorted out the date will take care of itself. There is no point setting a date when there are no shows.

We have the next 20 years apparently. but having it in the off season would be a good idea.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:41

there are plenty of other things i'm rubbish at.

You need to narrow it down to something you can do in about half an hour and on the radio.

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:41

You need to narrow it down to something you can do in about half an hour and on the radio.

or an hour, if need be ;)

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:42

    oh jeez, don't remind me.

This has reminded LPG that it's about time she pulled in a favour...

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:46

Hehe, I like how Ollie, Alex and Sidepodcast are on the Tweetdeck website under the F1 directory of 25 must haves on the program :)

Ollie is the number 1 F1 tweeter?

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:52

Ollie is the number 1 F1 tweeter?

seems random. i just opened it a second time and ollie was third, with vee8 top.

  • Lukeh03/11/2009 at 23:52

Ollie is the number 1 F1 tweeter?

Maybe. I don;t think it ranks but you can see what I mean here

    http://www.tweetdeck.com/beta/directory/

Just found it pretty cool when I saw the F1 list :)

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:52

Ollie is the number 1 F1 tweeter?

I don't think so, I think it's an "in no particular order" top 25

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:53

Just found it pretty cool when I saw the F1 list :)

i'm really impressed f1 is listed. it's a US site.

  • Andy Taylor03/11/2009 at 23:54

i'm really impressed f1 is listed. it's a US site.

One of my colleagues was in Florida during the Brazilian GP and was able to watch it on live TV. He did mention that the commentary was rrrrubbish though.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 23:54

i'm really impressed f1 is listed. it's a US site.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 23:57

I didn't mean specifically the US thing. I hope you feel famous1

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:57

I didn't mean specifically the US thing. I hope you feel famous1

oh. i don't want to be famous. that's why i'm anonymous.

  • Alison03/11/2009 at 23:59

oh. i don't want to be famous. that's why i'm anonymous.

Was it you I had that big conversation with about online privacy? It later occurred to me that as an anonymous person, you're not the best person to talk to about it :D

  • Paul03/11/2009 at 23:59

oh. i don't want to be famous. that's why i'm anonymous.

Christine if famous. You're a legend. (clearly)

  • James03/11/2009 at 23:59

Was it you I had that big conversation with about online privacy? It later occurred to me that as an anonymous person, you're not the best person to talk to about it :D

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:59

oh. i don't want to be famous. that's why i'm anonymous.

actually, that's not true. what i should say is - i don't want to be famous, that's why i don't mind being anonymous.

  • me03/11/2009 at 23:59

Christine if famous. You're a legend. (clearly)

    ha!

  • me04/11/2009 at 00:00

Was it you I had that big conversation with about online privacy? It later occurred to me that as an anonymous person, you're not the best person to talk to about it :D

ummm. i don't think so, what did you say?

  • James04/11/2009 at 00:00

  • Andy Taylor04/11/2009 at 00:01

I must sleep - 8am start tomorrow for the first time in ages. Night all.

  • me04/11/2009 at 00:01

  • Alison04/11/2009 at 00:01

ummm. i don't think so, what did you say?

Hah I'm sure it was you. I think initially I was ranting about how I didn't like twitter. You couldn't think how it was different to posting on here.

  • James04/11/2009 at 00:02

hehe i just got a tweet from big ben, so I know it is a new day :)

  • me04/11/2009 at 00:02

  • me04/11/2009 at 00:04

I block those who spam does that count?

that's fine. i do the same.

  • James04/11/2009 at 00:05

that's fine. i do the same.

Ah cool, I think we should move to the new daily thread ;)

  • Alison04/11/2009 at 00:06

oh yeah that was me. i can't fathom people who block tweets.

Normally things like that only annoy me when I'm trying to nose in on other people's conversations. Then I realise why it is they're blocking it.....

  • Alison04/11/2009 at 00:06

Ah cool, I think we should move to the new daily thread ;)

Are you giving Mr C thread advice??

  • me04/11/2009 at 00:07

Are you giving Mr C thread advice??
