It has arrived, the final day of the year two thousand and nine. From tomorrow onwards we will be into double figures in this new millennium, and it is a chance to have a fresh start. Or equally, things will carry on in the same awesome way they have been. I am good at this fortune telling stuff. Anyway, here are some of the things we're up to:
- Now is the perfect time to make your resolutions for the new year. We are accepting your F1 related (and otherwise) promises over on this post, where we have also listed out our own goals for 2010. Share yours, and we will revisit them at the end of the year to see how well we all did.
- I spent some time yesterday (and by some time, I mean all day) sorting out the blog category of the blog. It didn't make sense as a category, now we have the blog section at the top of the page. Instead, I split up the posts into categories of their own, which you can see over on the Archive page. Have a look around and let me know what you think, as they are not finalised yet, and we are always open to suggestions.
- Finally, turning to F1 for a minute, Bernie Ecclestone has hyped up Sebastian Vettel for the championship next season, and the young German himself is busy suggesting that the furore surrounding Schumacher will die down soon enough.
That's all for now, all I have left is to wish Lukeh a Happy Birthday for today, and to Journeyer for yesterday. I am doing well on my New Year Resolution before 2010 even gets here. Let us know what you're up to for New Year's Eve, and I will see you in the comments.

What are everyone's plans for NYE?
I have work in the morning (stupid monthly stock-take). Then I have no idea what I am doing. I could go to Dad's and play board games/Wii, or I could wander aimlessly around town where lots of people gather, or I could stay here. I am leaning toward a mix of the latter two.

we are going to watch the 9pm family fireworks from here, should get a nice view from the 13th floor. I can see the ones in the city from my street if i walk to the top of it. After a 13 hour day at work that will be way too much effort. At least public transport is free tonight so i can get a tram home witntu having to pay :D

We usually get to see Sydney's fireworks on the news in the afternoon, being one of the first 'big' places to hit the mark, we don't see Melbourne's though...

indeed, i am making an early start on this "save for spa" thing by doing overtime.
apparently melbournes fireworks will be the best since the commonwealth games in 06. Sydneys look better though since they do it by the harbour, its a more photogenic background :D

I bought the car when I was 15 years old for $1200. It didn't work and its' front end was smashed up because of a run in with a telephone poll. I restored it with some autoshop friends.

The engine burnt up and nearly gave me a Viking Funeral this summer. There is a lot of rust along the fender and doors, the wet NW weather has destroyed the interior.
It needs some serious TLC and since I have my college loans paid off, it time to do a little restoration work.

Been quite a few recent stories that have proved to be fake - obviously the PK which I thought was funny - then Sauber were going to announce their driver next week based on Peter Sauber's Tweet (which proved fake) and then rumours that Ralf Schumacher has had lots of offers from various teams including Toro Rosso.
Actually its quite with all of the breeding seabirds.

When you read this, can you tell me whether your mega fastest lap sheet counts rankings or actual times? Because I ranked my drivers for each race based on how fast their fastest lap was relative to the fastest driver.

It measured on ranking; the initial draft tried actual times but I couldn't iron out the kinks in disentangling the gaps, plus it was more work in an already-complicated project.
