Hello, it's me! Christine. That's right, you remember. I haven't written a daily for ages, and not only that, I'm up at 5 o'clock in the morning. This is just a day of firsts. We are smack dab in the middle of the Korean Grand Prix action, with one Free Practice session out of the way, and another one to come very shortly. But wait a minute, that's what the bullet points are for.
- It's been a while since I completed a Factbyte Factbox for Free Practice, but this one was great fun despite the early hours. You can revisit all the action in the dedicated thread, or see a snapshot overview of the results, if you'd rather just get a quick update on what you missed. There will be more of the same later today for FP2 as well.
- Joe has been on fine form, writing a couple of posts - the first of which gives yet more insight into what it's like in Korea. We're hearing it from all over the paddock at the moment, and it's fair to say that whilst some are embracing the adventure of it all, it's not exactly a comfortable place to be. Still a lot of weekend to go, unfortunately. Joe also broadened the topic to Bernie Ecclestone's plans for global domination, and where he should draw the line. An interesting subject, with some equally fascinating comments.
- If you haven't been around for a while, or prefer to just dip in and out of Sidepodcast, now would be a good opportunity to have a gander at the wiki. All kinds of things are beginning to take shape, including naming F1 drivers as biscuits, some suggestions for Sidepodradio 2, and a very kind celebration of Sidepodcast from Eric. If you can't find anything you like, I guarantee the dictionary won't fail to impress, but don't take my word for it. Have a look round.
- And finally, this is entirely off topic, but it would be remiss of me not to take this opportunity to embarrass myself further. My dad wrote a little guest post - more of a guest picture really - on my personal blog, and well, you'll just have to go and check it out for yourself.
That's all I've got for today, it was a bit of an impromptu daily, so apologies for all the shameless self-promotion. I managed to embarrass myself as well, though, so I hope that evens things out a little. Enjoy Korea, and I will, as always, see you in the comments.
