The final TNF game of the season features the San Diego Chargers, who must win to keep any playoff hopes alive, against their divisional foe the Denver Broncos – expect a shootout in the West (01:25 Fri – Sky Sports). Win and the New England Patriots clinch their division, although they are now without another key player. They travel south to fellow AFC East-ers, the Miami Dolphins, who are still in the playoff mix (18:00 Sun – Sky Sports). Next up are two teams vying for a wildcard spot (or possible division title) in the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys are hosting the Green Bay Packers (21:25 Sun – Sky Sports). The Cincinnati Bengals look to extend their lead in the AFC North when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers (01:30 Mon – C4). Another pair of possible post-season contenders face off on Monday night – the Baltimore Ravens are at the Detroit Lions (01:40 Tues – Eurosport). Some great games, but I somehow doubt there will quite as much weather-related carnage as last week.

Patriots just kicking off at the Dolphins.

I still haven't looked at my fantasy team after Thursday night's disaster

  • Steven Roy15/12/2013 at 18:55

How are the Dolphins still in this game. Pats lead 3-0 with 3 minutes left in the first half and Tannehill seems to be getting sacked every few minutes. The Dolphins get in position to get a field goal and level the scores and they did something I have never seen before. The snapper snapped the ball while the holder was still looking across the line and the ball hit him in the face. Pats recovered the ball

Love that the Chargers shocked the Broncos on TNF!

yup very true, but at least then I could have a LT open

  • Steven Roy15/12/2013 at 19:16

Both teams score a TD within a minute of each other. 30 seconds to go in the half and it looks like the Pats are going to go in with a three point lead

  • Will^15/12/2013 at 19:18

By the sounds of it the bears might want Cutler to stay injured a bit longer.

The only clip I have seen from that was a Browns interception but McCown played well last week

McCown was the highest scorer in fantasy last week (I think)

This game started off looking like it would be a Pats walkover but it has turned into a relly good game. Pats just scored a TD to take a 20-17 lead

It hasn't seemed like that. There seem to have been a lot of 10-15 yard plays rather than 3-5 yards

The Bears still have 10 minutes to go, same in the Eagles' game.

Brady is averaging 10 yards per completion and Tannehill a little over 12

  • Will^15/12/2013 at 20:50

Those are some good numbers, maybe the incompletion number is down, to keep the clock running...?

    Brady 32/47 for 328

    Tannehill 25/37 for 312

  • Will^15/12/2013 at 20:52

    Those sound like reasonable %s.

The Chargers have been good at playing up to their competition this season, but when the match-up is less enticing they've not got their heads in the game enough. Plus Rivers is playing like a top-5 QB this season.

All I remember about 98 was Scotland Brazil in the opening match. It ended an incredible run of Scotland Brazil games at alternate world cups - 74 - 82 - 90 - 98. How can you get out of a group when you keep drawing Brazil?

The ball was very close to the ground. Looks like an interception on replays

  • Steven Roy16/12/2013 at 00:43

Definitely an interception from the last angle

Not sure how the officials can launch a replay, it was ruled incomplete

It is an interception. 1:22 to go

GB just taking knees. Game over

Pack remain in the mix... The Aaron Rodgers saga continues

That was incredible. Studio commentators are blaming Dallas play calling. Defence was a lot more conservative after half time and GB and particularly Lacy just went strai ght through it. Romo threw 2 interceptions at vital times and another only just touched the ground as the interceptor was trying to get a proper grip on the ball

Dallas bottled it. The owner might need to fire the GM.

Either that or let the coach coach and stop interfering

Jerry Jones firing Jerry Jones - I'd like to see that.

Somehow I don't see that happening

sometimes watching tis game makes me sick, usually this time of the year, usually theres some madness late in games at crucial times of the season, usually resulting in last minute losses, no doubt to what team I support.
