After an epic 4 games last weekend we are left with 2 huge games on Championship Sunday. Now that the Matt Ryan has overcome his playoff-jinx, Atlanta look like they could be the real deal. However, they will only want to replicate their first half performance against Seattle, or risk being bowled over by the O/D phases of ‘9er-football. San Francisco’s defence is solid and we’ve now all seen how truly lethal the offense is when being run by Colin Kaepernick – watch out, he’s dangerous! NFC: 49ers @ Falcons (2000 – Sky Sports). Just as New England’s luck all but gifted them the bye-week, the Broncos loss means they’ve lucked-into hosting the Championship Game as well. Unfortunately for the Pats (& Gronk), they are only adding to their list injuries to key players, but even this is unlikely to harm the Pats’ offense. Their weakness lies in their defence, especially against a Baltimore offense with a now elite-looking Joe Flacco at the helm. AFC: Ravens @ Pats (2330 – Sky Sports).
NFL Playoffs - Conference Championships

Go 49'ers!
'9ers for me as well. Not sure if that comes across up there ^^ ;)
If I am to get any fantasy points I need the 49ers and Patriots to meet in the Superbowl
My tactic exactly - go big or go home (the gamble was needed after last week).
I want the Falcons to win, but i don't think they will
I had no option since I had all 8 selections knocked out last week
I only had Gronk left :S Despite having a 3x I didn't keep him in.
I want to see a good game, but I need it to be Kaep to Vernon Davis all day long to rack up fantasy points. But I also have Julio Jones on the Falcons. I think the 9ers will win and I'm ok with that. I have no favorite either way, though.
Wow!! Big play. No coverage!?
Yay Julio!
How can the '9ers' D have 4 points?
That appears to be points for allowing ~7pts only. That'll come down sure.
I think I need the 49er's to win the Superbowl.
3-&-out?
Sky has lost the feed from the US.
1st and 10 for ATL at the 29
*their
GameCentre is keeping me going... and we're back.
ATL 1st down.
Oh, good. I was going to keep you up to date.
Cheers :) Fingers crossed you'll not need to though.
Ouch - that security guard needed pads.
Not a lot of sense standing two yards from the side line with your back to the monsters
yeah. ouch.
His job is to protect the players, so he watches the crowd.
Very lucky he was hit so low that his feet came off the ground or that could have been very serious
He was going to tackle anybody heading to the field to cause a mischief. Ouch.
He should be further away from the line
Yeah, and have someone watching his back.
Maybe he just needs shoulder pads with wing mirrors
I am a jinx. Every team I pick players from loses
Man this Jones kid is just too good, esp when the ball is all-but handed to him.
Being honest about a problem is the first step to healing.
So now we've agreed there is a problem, the '9ers can win, yes?
Do me a small favour and stop picking the team I am picking players from then....;p
ATL 10
SF 0
I absolve myself from all blame for the Broncos problems. Their failure was caused by whoever decided to give up the blue shirts and go back to the effeminate orange ones. Elway had great teams for years and won nothing until they switched to blue and they immediately won two superbowls.
Same with the Buccaneers. They were a total joke then ditched effeminate orange for dark red and all of a suddent they became a serious team.
The answer to that is simple. You have to pick from teams that have no chance of winning
Orange you glad they chose blue?
I think they should be. They won nothing wearing orange and then they sign Peyton and switch back to it to make sure Eli has more rings than him
White now I am green with envy that I could not come up with puns that can match Kai's....
I'd love the Falcons to win, because I thinkt he Patriots would find it easier playing them than the 49ers
Went straight over my head
5 of my 8 fantasy selections today are Patriots. Ravens are guaranteed to beat them
I have 3 Pats, 2 9ers, Julio Jones (yes!), and Ray Rice and the Ravens' D.
I have 5 Patriots, 3 49ers
Double bluff?
Me too. 9ers are showing what 3 of my picks can do to a team
I've 4/4 Pats&'9ers - not looking good so far.
Chevy - Olive - Chevy - Olive
Are the bad lip reading people doing a voice over on the QB?
Was he lining up the car & colour he wants as a bonus for winning?
None of these QBs are any good. I have yet to hear one use badgers or mascara
:) The sign of true professionals.
I'm looking forward to Brady using this one later:
I've found Fido. Hey, I've found Fido. I've found Fido you guys!
hehe
I have to watch that again.
Jones #2!! Ca-ching!
TD
This is becoming very painful.....
How did you find it in the first place because you were the first person I saw tweeting about it
Wow, we've played a quarter already?
My sister has posted them on FB before. They do lots of different topics, but they do need F1.
Nat Coombs on Twitter: What replays didn't show was Alex Smith sticking another pin into his Harbaugh voodoo doll just as Julio Jones 2nd foot came down
I checked through their youtube channel and there seems to be a lot of politicians etc
yeah. I just saw one on The Hunger Games, too.
TD stands. Kick made. 17-0. Only 6 seconds into the second
Seriously Matt Ryan - you're making me look bad.
And to think I chose a mug like Brady
I have Kaep :S
Finally, SF has a 1st down...
Looks like we all need an SF comeback
Politicians are easy targets. Good place to start. I'm watching one called "Yeti" now, Bad Lip Reading of Coldplay. I don't like them, so it works for me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxQwtl_giK4&list=UU67f2Qf7FYhtoUIF4Sf29cA&index=11
It's not as funny as the NFL one, though. "Stop doing heroin!"
Yup. He had so many yards through the air and on the ground as well as his TDs, I couldn't resist. Looks like ATL have done their homework & prepped well.
I'm ok with them losing!
I still love the Rodgers one.
I will fight for this man. He has a frisbee
Fido gets me every time.
That's the best for me, regardless of me knowing it's coming :D
Kaep taking his time cost them there - inexperience showing a little.
Same thing happened last week except that Harbaugh managed to get a time out with a second on the play clock
$9ers finally score
Not bad. Now let us see teh 49 D stop them in a 4 and out...
Let's just hope that the '9ers are slow starting.
Bad Lip Reading is a Texas based music production person who will not identify himself. The list of what he's done is here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Lip_Reading
I assumed that's what was going on. I had a moment a little while ago where I thought "oh, ATL could win this?" hehe The reality of that hadn't actually occurred to me.
That last SF run has just given the ATL D something to worry about, and can give Kaep more time :) Points please.
Looks like he/they have done a lot more than I thought
Here's that stop you were talking about.
So close to a block there
@Dameshek: Ryan threw three very dangerous passes in that brief possession. Falcons are lucky to be punting...
Great run by Kaep
23yards - his first 2 points.
Maybe his 2nd 2 points.
YES!
Nice. And leaves the score for a possible player of mine.
Are you getting excited about something?
"Vernon Davis is back." Music to my ears.
Both are on my fantasy team. I need them to keep doing that.
He has scored me 7 points already. Would have been more if the guard/tackle had not tried to throttle a Falcon while Vernon gained 30 yards
woohoo!
I am now on 10 points for this game. Didn't expect that 13 minutes ago
Kaep onthe throw - woopwoop.
This is setting itself up nicely
Now I have 16 points. Thank you Vernon Davies
Same, plus 9 from Kaep.
and 24 from Julio Jones. My choices have been miserable up to this point, so this is unusual for me.
You are cleaning up
My selections seem to never play a much of a role after all: Gore, Crabtree
I have both of those too. Fortunately Davies is scoring heavily
Are the '9ers missing a man in the secondary?
Boy, ATL is so much stronger today than I gave them credit for.
Holding them to 3 may be key here... ohh wait.
May I suggest, that was a bit easy?
Another TD
So ATL 24, SF 14 at halftime. NOT what I expected at all.
Done. Had network problems. got them fixed just in time for halftime?
Darn only 27 points in that half. Half of them coming from Davis....
12 - my luck is not up to much it seems.
All this run setting up the play-action?
please excuse my silence - FantasyF1 coding
Are they not targetting Crabtree because of what he allegedly has been up to?
TD for Gore. I am going to win the fantasy league!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will blame Peyton Manning 100x over for my performance.
What has he allegedly benn up to?
only 3 pts down! go 49'ers!
I dumped double Rodgers points to get Manning
And Rodgers, I had him and most of the Broncos that Peyton was going to throw to.
Sexual assault.
You would think they would give sportsmen classes on how to behave to avoid that
That's why I dropped him.
You know what, I think they do. Talent, money and fame doesn't give you a free pass as they might like to think.
I kinda thought that talent and stage might mean he got targeted still.
They spend most of their life being told how great they are and have people prepared to do anything they want. I guess they are not used to people saying no to them and meaning it
I just went off my personal reaction.
I had to pick a '9er WR - was him.
Ryan picked.
TOs might be what win/lose it
*thonk*
I love the sound of a ball against the upright in a dome
WTF? Missed field goal from that range?
Has anybody mentioned Billy Cundiff?
me too.
That was a pretty impressive *booooooooooon*
Great catch by Julio Jones. He really got hit.
Fumble?!!
Wow. Turnover.
49ers need to put points on the board this time
This is all it takes in these games. 2 turnovers.
SF D get points for TOs
Do the Ravens?
:)
Not from this game.
shucks.
The '9ers got a get-out-of-jail-free flag there.
The Patriots don't really give many turnovers away... might be asking a lot for big points on turnovers for the Ravens!
Well that stunk. 4 and out after a recovered fumble...
My mistake.
There he is!
That was a brilliant catch from Crabtree, he didn't have much room
He was down, surely.
Challenge that one.
Throw the flag
Ball out before the line. TO
Oh, don't throw it
He lost that big time
2 wasted TOs by SF
We'll not see him again then.
BUT, Atlanta will get it on the one yard line. I want a safety :-)
Matty almost dropped it again
3rd & 6.
punt
Come on SF, you should be winning this game now....
now we're in business
TD Gore
Points!!!!!!!
nice block on the play
Yay!
Glad I've picked one player who getting the touches, yards, and scores!! 20pts so far
How did that pass get completed? Or did it?
Ball moved`
looks a catch to me
Looked good, then the replay makes it look less good.
He lost control as it went under his chest. Incomplete
Harbaugh goes nuts as expected after that decision
That Harbaugh reaction!
That needs the bad lip reader treatment
I've stepped away for a second, but I can imagine this. hehe :)
HARBAUGH SMASH
Doubled up like he had been shot, smashed his hands into the ground and got up ranting like a lunatic. Standard Harbaugh
I'm rooting for ALT. How did that happen?
or ATL, either one.
You want my fantasy team to totally fall apart
hehe oops.
oh man! Big play.
TO on downs!!!
That's the game
I'm in shock.
*buffering*
The contact is why Harbaugh is screaming at them to get a play off
I can't see the clock or the timeout counters...
1:04
ATL 1 TO
SF 2
Plenty of time, 3 downs to run off <80s (minus the timeout)
GameCentre is dead.
Gore still collecting the points.
ATL might have ~10s
That's time enough for a Hail Mary.
Just as well. Vernon Davies scored almost all his points in the second quarter. DOne nothing since
:(
That's it. 9ers to the Superbowl.
WooHoo - half my picks have paid off!!!
Why did Ryan throw to the middle? Crazy
I'm happy with that half of the SuperBowl matchup :)
Atlanta played so much better than I thought they would today, for some reason. I didn't give them enough credit.
Me too. 39 points
I'm just doing Bad Lip Reading in my head as they talk now.
Julio, I thank you. 26 points from you today. *curtsies*
Frank Gore x2 helps me :-)
oh, good. :)
Oh great. My highest scorer and you get double points this week and treble in the big game
Hey, he's my only one, since Gronk is out!
I lost my whole team last week. I got the whole weekend 100% wrong
you had no Pats players?
Nope. I had a team full of Packers and Broncos
I've 43 from this week :)
57! + 132 from last week, which is lame.
Well, that's 63 points for me from this game. Either Rice or Welker gets big points in the next game or my goose is cokked.
(not a factorial, just excitement...math guy. :) )
I was about to say... I didn't realise you could accumulate that much multiplier!?
hehe :)
You would be brilliant if it was 57 factorial.... (171 from last week + 73 from the previous week)
Yes, I am "Cowboys in 48".
Their not in it this year, so I "turned jersey" to SF....
Pats for me this game: RB Stevan Ridley, WR Wes Welker, K Stephen Gostkowski
Ravens: RB Ray Rice, and the D
All well, 307 points in total going into this game....
I have those, plus Brady
I do think that SF and Pats in the Superbowl is too predictable and boring - franchises who've had so much success in the past. None of my teams are in this. Not to be a wet blanket on the whole thing. I hope we have another good game here.
Good. Hopefully good points for us both, then.
RB Shane Vereen, WR Wes Welker, TE Aaron Hernandez, K Gostkowski are mine.
Hey, before 2000, the Patriots didn't have much success!
Oh yes, I have Hernandez too
True. But it seems like they've dominated so much since....
I'm just having a nostalgic moment for teams I'd rather see here, but they just weren't good enough when they needed to be. That's the way it goes.
Errr, I do not see any Steve Young back-up QB in SF, not that this kid we have is anything like Joe the legend....
Harbaugh x2 would be fun.
And if those teams make it again because they're that good, then they deserve it.
We are still awaiting the spiritual return of Roger Staubach in Dallas....
Flacco does have a strong arm, but there's a very strong wind
Since 1990, teams that have started 6-0 appeared in the Super Bowl 50% of the time << Sorry Atlanta.
Did you see the pictures from the Pats' practice field earlier?
Flacco does have a strong arm, but there's a very strong wind
"Throw it now, The wind is behind you....."
And 0% that lost a playoff game :-)
or across...
I'd love to see Ray Lewis at the Superbowl.
Cool, - downfield lateral passing.... I remember when the Eagles had two great QB's and they used to have one of them be a RB in certain formations, and the one QB would lateral a pass to the other QB who used to to bomb it downfield.....
That is what the Jets should've run with Tebow in the 2nd slot.
No, Tebow should have been the QB! Cannae have been much worse than Sanchez!
Did I say they were playing Sanchez at #1? They should've traded him away for someone else / promote their #3.
Come on Wes! Hands.
In this game I have
QB Brady
RB Ridley
WR Welker
K Gostkowski
D Pats
Mallet is a QB - teehee
Making them waste a timeout early
yep, that had one purpose, and it worked
Which meansm, you can't beat me :-)
I demand we re-start the playoffs
I think he's still woozy from his start in week 16!
I'm all for this.
Well, folks, I need to clear some snow again and get ready for tomorrow's work, so I bid you all
Go 49'ers!!!!
Good night, Jordan.
Night jordan
I'll say it again... Fantasy next year.
Definitely. We need to plug it a few weeks before the season starts
Not sure which format to choose, whether it's this type of open roster (with player values), or the traditional NFL format of ~12 teams, with a real Draft etc.
A real draft would be interesting but would probably get fewer entries
Gotskowski gets me more points. It's all about me
I do find that format more intriguing, but we'd get more participants with a more standard budgeted/value-based selection. have to work out where is best before next September then.
+1. Well, +6, actually.
Right guys, I'm off to bed. Busy day tomorrow. Which only really means switching to radio... I'll probs still be int he comments for a while.
I thought that was the referee who caught the punt for a second
Good return by Welker. Didn't think he would get anything like that distance
Never understood how intentional grounding is not allowed but spiking the ball to stop the clock is.
It's directly after the snap so is allowed because it's a designed play. not having intentional grounding would let the qb off making a bad throw while under pressure, so the d might not get the chance to sack / Int etc
To me they are the same thinking. Spiking gives them all the advantages of completing a pass and getting the receiver out of bounds without having to do it, running the risks that go with it and taking the time it does to get that play to happen
Taking a knee similar: the handoff, the tackle etc.
Taking a knee is just like being tackled. They may gain a second at most.
Ravens are just carving up the Pats D
TD Ravens. That has been comings since the first succesful play if this drive when they ran from their own 3 to 22ish
What will Brady's answer be?
Hopefully lots of passing yards to Welker
Great start. Patriots make three yards on the play and someone gives them another 15 with a soft shot to the head
I found Fido, you guys!
I was worried about Fido being out all night
hehe
When Brady was changing the play it's all I could think of him saying.
Yey for Wes
TD Pats
That is what Brady is going to do in reply to the Ravens TD
and for those of us who have him. :)
Ray Rice is up to 30 points already on my list? cool.
Gronkowski celebrating with the owner. His left arm looks like it is strapped to his chest
You guys saw this, right? Glowing moon credenza..
http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2013/01/18/full_moon_credenza_glowing_furniture_with_the_moon.html
I really don't want one of those
I do. But not in the bedroom 'cause it'll be way too bright.
Where are you going to put it then. You could have it in a bathroom instead of candles
As a nightlight in the living room, maybe.
I think it would get annoying. You can have a flat moon or a globe moon but a moon with right angles is always going to look odd
Referee tackled Brady
I think it's cool, but it would be helpful to regulate the amount of light it gives out.
I thought Brady was just going for the hard count and would call a time out rather than run the play
You just need a black cloth to cover part of it
Just realised the snap went past Brady straight to the RB
Ravens smacked themselves down.
That was a mess. They had 12 seconds and wasted 8 getting organised to spike the ball and only have 4 seconds left
Yes, Harbaugh, Brady kicked him, but it's too late now.
and could've broken his leg.
:)
Oh, Harbaugh is an idiot. I no longer want him to win. Go Pats.
It would be interesting to have two brothers coaching the Superbowl teams
Do they both talk like that? "I'm not worried about anything! We both know it's gonna come down to the wire!" as if the reporter asking him what he's worried about in the game so far is the stupidest possible question any human could've dreamed up.
I hate that attitude.
The reporter is just doing his job. Play along.
Tom Brady is 67-0 in his career at home when leading at halftime
Standard sportsman nonsense. Never admit to being worried about anything
That's fairly overwhelming odds
yes, bravado. It always impresses me when people are respectful of everyone's role in the show, from the waterboys to the refs.
instead of condescension.
I can understand that
But I have a lot less testosterone than him. :)
That's good to know
haha
I'd like Wes Welker to get some more touches in the 2nd half, mmk?
Would be good. I have 32 points in this game so far
Ravens need a score this drive. They can't get more than a score behind
Also remember they were basically a score down at half time (or 10 seconds after) last week
If they don't score on this drive their D needs to shut down Brady
MASSIVE 3rd down conversion there
Ravens completely relying on Flacco doing his Dan Marino
I shouldn't stay up, but it's hard to go to bed when it's your team...
it is...
It's not my team and I can't make myself go to bed
oof.
Ravens get the TD and take a one point lead
Ravens TD
Every time I hear Hightower I think Police Academy
Ravens TD. Great catch.
TD Ravens. Pats are in trouble now
OK, I've seen enough. This isn't going to end well.
A TD and a two point conversion levels the game. ot over yet
21-13 Baltimore
Not over yet
Scrum
That has to be a 15 yard penalty
Boys, boys... get up.
oh god, 22 knocked himself out, yes?
he was a ragdoll after he hit the Raven.
Yes. It has to be a penalty for a head to head tackle
That was the messiest and most prolonged pile that I've seen in a long time. Having a man down in the middle of it was just bizarre and scary.
Whew.
Ouch. I don't need to see that again.
Another Raven's TD!
I want to see that one again
Definitely a good TD. On the first view it looked like his shoulder touched down first and it was half in and half out
Ridley out with head injury, not surprisingly. A long time ago (in the bad old days) everyone would've said he 'got his bell rung' and he'd be back in.
At least they treat concussion seriously. I saw some reports a week ago of the damage they found in junior Seau's brain from concussion. He and some other players left their brains to science
Brady should just have run that
That's what I mean. I'm so glad they are taking it seriously now. Families have lost too many dads, brothers, uncles to that long term brain damage.
Pats D has lost every point they gained earlier
All of twitter is discussing the half time stat that Brady is 67-0 with a half time lead
Records are made to be broken. :)
there's still quite a bit of time, though.
Interception
2:20 to go
That's it!
I yelled!
Intercepted in endzone by Ravens!
Another interception. Brady struggling because of his lack of mobility
Wow. I am happy it was the Ravens and not the Pats after all.
Can't wait for the Habaughbowl
Are we writing anything this year or leaving it to the statisticians on staff now at SPC?
No reason there can't be two preview posts. Badgers and Mascara is an annual sidepodcast tradition
I fall asleep for how long, and what do you let happen?
Will's been doing such a great job this year that I'm not sure I really have a place in writing about the NFL here anymore...
Patriots offence was totally non-existent in the second half
Brady must have thrown 3 or 4 interceptions.
I didn't want to tread on any toes, just wanted to make sure threads got written and that we had built interest for this time of the season
there is one reason, it's not f1.
can i maybe guilt trip anyone who's planning to write one (or two) nfl posts, to also think about an f1 topic of their choice too. kind of an off-topic/on-topic kinda deal? not at the same time, but like an "i owe you x1 f1 guest post" vibe?
i do love me some guest posts, but we've not got time to balance out all the work you guys are putting in, ourselves at the moment.
I think you have done a great job all season
It's been excellent! *checks toes* They're all good. :) I never wrote the weekly posts at all, just the Superbowl one, but you guys are much more qualified. I'm more enthusiastic than knowledgeable. hehe
a flipping amazing job.
You want a badgers and mascara post on F1? Could be interesting
NFL used to be commented in the daily post so there was never a need to write a weekly post until this season
Another good reason why we didn't write them. ;)
That's fair, I just lack knowledge, once again.
heh... is that even possible? was thinking more one-for-one. so if there were a couple of superbowl posts going up, there'd still be something for f1 fans to read.
Given that my fantasy team has been wiped out every week I am clearly not qualified to be anything other than a WW1 general
Best way to get knowledge is to research a guest post :D
I have no idea how we could do that
i cannot believe that, i have evidence that says otherwise :)
http://sidepodcast.com/post/live-nfl-pittsburgh-steelers-at-the-kansas-city-chiefs
#lovethearchives
True! :)
i may have confused you.
so, say you're planning to write a few superbowl posts. do that and we'll publish them. as always.
but, as a follow up, think about writing something (anything at all) about formula 1. just so casual sidepodcast readers don't start wondering if we gave up on f1.
if that makes sense? normally we try to do that, but we're flat out until feb.
I think it's fair on an F1 site to have F1 material...purely logical, Captain. When do you want a plan in place, Mr C? That will give us a timeframe to see what everyone wants to do.
I can't believe you watched An Officer and a Gentleman
The Superbowl is in 2 weeks so before then would be good
i'm not totally sure of the upcoming dates, other than i want to be free to watch it!
I had to research all of that. I feel like Will and Noelinho could do that without even reading up on anything. :)
I understood. Just trying to work out how to get badgers and mascara into an F1 post to see if it could be done. Mascara is easy but badgers are causing me problems. Why couldn't one have wandered on to a track and got mollicated by a car just once
easy: http://badgergp.com/
Superbowl 47 is Sunday, Feb 3.
perfect! so how many posts required before then? two or three?
How did I not think of that
Kickoff 6:30pm EST = late for you guys.
It is always at that time. The half time show this year is a disappointment though
(I know you know, but I thought Mr C *may* have forgotten)
who?
ahh no. i've been watching superbowl since before i knew what american football was (for the music) :)
previous previews:
http://sidepodcast.com/post/32-56-badgers-mascara-hike

oh, sorry. oops. :)
Beyonce. I thought it was Britney
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Bowl_halftime_shows
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
Whatever everyone wants to do is fine. If I can contribute something to the NFL, I'll be happy to, and I'll come up with something for F1, too. I don't want to tread on any toes, either, as Will has been so good. If it doesn't work out for me to do something, that's just fine, too.
Never seen so many consecutive OMGs before
did Will fall back to sleep? might be worth discussing tomorrow, but if you guys want to do your usual, and Will / noelinho want to take a more numeric based angle that's good by me.
♥ bouncy!
Ok, we'll wait to hear from Will and Noelinho.
Good night all.
cheers kai.
Good night.
And good night from me too
I would nominate myself for a Super Bowl post buyi might be slightly biased having lived in Maryland when they got their first crown
oooh! well we might need to hear about that too :)
Drifting in and out of consciousness just about covers it. Prove best to work it out later. Quick q: Pro Bowl next Sunday? Appetite?
absolutely no idea what that means. if it's another thread, you have 400+ comments here which suggests there is v.much interest :)
It's an all-star game in Hawaii. Best players from each half of the league play eachother. Can be a fun watch
ooh fab. do it, yeah. is it streamed / sky / etc?
I'm happy to do any writing pre or post Super Bowl. But I don't want to step on any toes either. Could do a bit if beat writing?
Is an interesting combo though, having got up early to watch F1 in USA then stayed up to follow football in the UK. My body must hate me.
maybe for me, it did appear a little dead last year
Sky have it. There'll be no 49ers or Ravens there though. Super Bowl players are exempt
:)
I have a cunning plan to win our fantasy group from my current ninth position. I have picked a load of players that are unlikely to play and that no-one else will have. All I need is a few injuries etc and I am bound to win
People I blame for my poor Fantasy showing: Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady.
I've no surprises in my line-up; at this point all I want is a mid-table finish.
I had all of them. Given that QB sequence it will be Alex Smith's fault that the 49ers lose the Superbowl
