Well, yes, I know what you're thinking. You couldn't really get further from Formula One if you tried. There must be some kind of tenuous link regarding top notch technology, and... no, I really can't do it.

The problem is, I'm a complete and utter Doctor Who fan and am super excited about the return of the series - even if David Tennant has abandoned us. Mr C is less keen, and so is perhaps right when he suggested a dedicated thread to contain all the comments relating to our favourite sci-fi show (alongside LOST that is).

The show is on BBC One at 6:20pm BST, and marks one of the rare times I watch TV as it happens, rather than catching up on the iPlayer later. I hope you'll join me, if not during the episode, certainly afterwards for some proper deconstruction of Matt Smith's debut.

I think matt smith is going to be a brilliant doctor. He certainly has the chance to be if given good enough scripts which I trust off of Moffat

Is that meant to be Amy? Cos if it is, it might be the best casting ever.

  • Lukeh03/04/2010 at 17:25

I reckon the BBC really did go back in time and let Karen do this as a child coz' that girl is the spitting image

  • Lukeh03/04/2010 at 17:26

  • Lukeh03/04/2010 at 17:38

Wooo, they didn't ruin it! :)

I can't help but notice how different Moffat's vision of the series is compared to RTD's by just these first opening 20 minutes. Not a bad thing whatsoever.
