Daily: 7th May 2010

Gimme an F! Gimme a riday! What does that spell? Friday! Yes it’s another daily here from Lukeh to take you into that final day before the weekend and guess what?! Remember that Formula 1 sport? It’s back today after a 3 week hiatus! Wahhooo! But there’s plenty to discuss before we go rummaging off to Catalunya. There is F1 news and non-F1 news to analyse, laugh at, be confused about and point at in a scared fashion. So, what can we discuss today?

Daily: 6th May 2010

Hello! and welcome to Thursday the 6th May 2010. The long wait between races is almost at an end, the first free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix starts tomorrow after almost three weeks of no action. Also this weekend there is a Rally in New Zealand, I won't pretend to know anything about what is happening though.

Hello there, it’s Gavin again, author of the F1 stats blog ‘Making Up The Numbers’ – which means it’s Wednesday, or ‘Hump Day’ if you are so inclined. In fact, today is my Monday because as I mentioned last week, I have been busy moving house (and cities) from Odense to Copenhagen. I have basically spent the last week moving out, cleaning the old house so well that you could have removed any existence of us living there, then moving all the stuff to the new place, building everything up, connecting up stuff and then unpacking and putting everything away. But we feel like we’ve done really well, and the new flat is really awesome, so we are very happy :D

Daily: 4th May 2010

It is a new week and finally, we are going to get some action. F1 resumes with the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend, and even though we know it is probably going to be boring, to me it is better than nothing. Also, watch out for Rally New Zealand, which Lady Snowcat will most probably provide snippets and highlights of. Onto more pressing things:

Daily: 3rd May 2010

Bonjour. And it is another Monday, but it is not a normal Monday, it is in fact a Bank Holiday Monday. A day in which you have an excuse to do absolutely nothing all day. Unless you are working anyways, or have to revise 60 answers to questions of French for a speaking exam on the Tuesday. Ahh well, onto the bulletpoints...

Daily: 2nd May 2010

Hello everyone, it’s Sunday, which means it must be my turn to welcome you to this lovely day. I can’t promise it will be the warm sunny weather we’ve been experiencing in the UK lately, but I’m sure the comments will be as friendly as ever. Continuing on a theme Lukeh set in Friday’s daily post I would like to express an extra special welcome to all of the Lurkers out there and invite you to join us in the glorious world of the Sidepodcast comments.

Daily: 1st May 2010

Ah, it must be my turn to write a daily post again. Let's see if I can remember how to do this. We've had so many excellent daily posts this week that I don't want to let anyone down. However, as the F1 news drought continues, I have found some things for us to talk about...

Daily: 30th April 2010

It’s not quite Saturday but it’s a bit more than Thursday, which must mean it’s a Friday once again! Lukeh here once more taking through these 24 hours into another weekend of no Formula 1 and following a week of very little news (unless of course you are an avid thumb enthusiast in which F1 went into new level for excitement for you I’m sure.). Happy ‘Koninginnedag’, or Queens Day, to all the Sidepodcast fans reading in the Netherlands, hope you have an awesome celebration. I would have a Queen day myself and throw on some Bohemian Rhapsody but sadly I shall be too busy working. Enough about that though, there’s so much to discuss but Time is Running Out...!

Daily: 29th April 2010

This should be an interesting daily post considering I haven't a clue as to what has been going on, F1 or otherwise. I can't even remember when I last commented on Sidepodcast! This has to be the longest time that the doohicky has not been open on my computer but whilst I have work to do it will have to stay this way as much as I hate it!

Daily: 28th April 2010

Hi, it’s Gavin here, author of the F1 stats blog ‘Making Up The Numbers’ – here with another daily post for your enjoyment. There isn’t much F1 news today as we are slap bang in the middle of a three-week gap between races.

Daily: 27th April 2010

Another week passes without any new F1 action to look forward to. To make things worse, life has settled back into normalcy after the volcano stopped erupting and air travel resumed. This is going to be a looong week, so I have got a couple more bullet points than usual to keep you guys going while reality drags on.

Daily: 26th April 2010

I liked Sunday. Not only did I keep my first clean sheet in three years, but we were treated to an absolute cracker of a Giggles Radio show. The theme was the letter 'M', and all I'll say there were some brilliant songs that were played in the 2 hour 40 minute show. (You have that time in the day, I know you do.)

Daily: 25th April 2010

Hey everyone! Lou here, and today it’s my turn to welcome you to a brand new daily. Sunday has arrived, it's Felipe Massa's birthday, and with no F1 race this weekend we can all put our feet up and make the most of this glorious day before we are forced to return to the hustle and bustle of the working week. We won’t talk about Monday though; I’ll leave that to R.G for tomorrow’s daily. For now, we’ll look at what today has in store...

Daily: 24th April 2010

Hello, hello. I have returned to man the controls and the daily post duty returns to me. Thank you to everyone for our first week of fabulous guest daily posts. I think it's safe to say the experiment was a success. A greater variety of links, ideas and content, some of them even relating to F1. Good times. Now, on to some things I want to share:

Daily: 23rd April 2010

We have survived Thursday!! High fives all round people! *high fives* Good morning, good afternoon and good night wherever you may be in the world reading this on the last day before the weekend! Woohoo!! Lukeh here guiding you through this much loved day, although I tend to have quite bad Fridays but enough about that, and what a week it’s been eh? Volcanos, ash clouds, bad jokes, allsorts. Oh, and there was plenty of action waiting hear how F1 got back from China – just look at this blog post from Jake Humphrey. Of course the planes once again remembered what it’s like to fly through the sky without a silly volcano making it silly for them! As you can imagine, it was quite silly. Nevertheless, let’s see what wild, wonderful and downright wacky events there are to talk about...

Daily: 22nd April 2010

Hello! Welcome to Thursday, that dreaded day of the week, and the day I, James, have the pleasure of writing the daily post. A random fact for you all I was born on a Thursday and according to the popular nursery rhyme 'Monday's Child' those born on this day have far to go, where exactly is anyone’s guess.

Daily: 21st April 2010

Hi, I’m Gavin, otherwise known as RubberGoat, author of the F1 stats blog ‘Making Up The Numbers’ and I am here to welcome you to Wednesday – ’Hump Day’, the middle of the week. It’s all downhill from here. Here’s some links for your reading and enjoyment...

Daily: 20th April 2010

I apologize for the tardiness as my world time converter wasn't working all that well. Anyway, here is you new daily post writer for Tuesdays: Marilene Riddle (or yours truly). So what should you be checking out on this bright and sunny day (except for the sad lot affected by the Iceland ash)?

Daily: 19th April 2010

I can hear you all yelling at me 'RG, I'm stuck here in northern Europe with simply nothing to do. How shall I spend this dull Monday while I pray for that awful volcanic ash from Iceland to go away?' Well, visitor of Sidepodcast, welcome, to the kind of new look Daily Post. With, as you can probably guess, a new writer. Each day of this week will feature a different writer of the Daily. Tomorrow, you will have the lovely Marilene here. But for now, you are stuck with me.

Daily: 18th April 2010

It is little Anthony Davidson's birthday today, and as it turns out, he's over 30. Perhaps we should stop calling him little Ant now. It's also Jordan Allen's birthday, but I already gave him a mention in the daily that was really a weekly. Happy birthday though Jordan! Meanwhile, here are some things we're talking about...
