Good morning, how is your long weekend going? Looking forward to the Easter Bunny visiting tomorrow? Me too!
Finally Saturday is here! I thought this week was never going to end. My week was very busy and felt long, but it ended on a great note. After booking tickets and flights for the Malaysian GP with Amy a while ago, I still wasn’t completely sure that I would be able to go. But now it is all confirmed, I’ll definitely be joining Amy at Sepang. But first, the Melbourne GP! Who else is going to Melbourne or Malaysia?
No, it’s not Saturday just yet, but Lukeh has kindly agreed to swap days with me as I may be offline tomorrow. Thanks Lukeh! So the first testing session of the year has wrapped up in Valencia. I have decided that this year I will call the green and yellow team Lotus, and the black and gold team will be called Renault. Easy!
Hello, hope you are all well. My last daily was written in the early days of a Melbourne Summer, but this daily is written in the middle of an English Winter. Obligingly, the snow fall began on my first day here (I did want a white Christmas), so I managed to take some very pretty photos. Snow is so amazing, it helps even the most amateur of photographers to take lovely shots.
Christmas to me means lots of sun, time at the beach and BBQ’s. Unlike some of my fellow daily writers, photography is not one of my talents, but I will head out around town with my camera to take some photos of Melbourne at Christmas time and hopefully have some for my next daily. Does anyone else have any Summer-y Christmas photos to share? In the meantime, here's an F1-related photo from Kathi.
Hi there, Pamela here doing a Saturday from Australia daily. Christine pointed out that today we are celebrating two years of Sidepodcast Dailies. How amazing is that?! So, the last race of the year! I’m a bit sad that the season’s over, but I’m in need of a break and would love to have some free weekends again. For those of us suffering from withdrawal symptoms after the race, there will be some action next week with the Young Driver and Pirelli tyre tests at Abu Dhabi. I’m sure twitter will keep us going for another week.
Hi there, Pamela here. My first daily! It’s now my turn to write a post as part of posts-from-Aussies-Saturdays. By the time this daily gets posted, it will almost be time for Amy and I to have our post race lunch/dinner. I know what you’re thinking: it’s not a race weekend, but why not be Sidepodfriends every weekend? We are heading to Mart 130 for a lunch of corn fritters! Mart 130 is located at Gate 1 entry into the Albert Park circuit – always exciting to be near the action, even if the action is 5 months away!
