NFL Week 9

We’re at week 9 which means we’ve reached the halfway point in the regular season. Thursday Night Football presented us with an NFC South matchup in which the New Orleans Saints dispatched the Carolina Panthers. Sunday night begins with two 6-win teams as the in-form Arizona Cardinals travel to the Dallas Cowboys (18:00 Sun – Sky Sports). The fitness of Cowboys’ QB Tony Romo has been marginal all week; if he does play his back may well cause him problems down the stretch. Up next it’s Manning-Brady 16 when the New England Patriots host the Denver Broncos (21:25 Sun – Sky Sports). Last up the Baltimore Ravens play the Pittsburgh Steelers (01:30 Mon – C4) in what might not shape up as an AFC North ground-and-pound slobber-knocker, but this season it could well be a display of aerial prowess.
