I know you were expecting Lukeh and I am sorry to disappoint but you've got me for today. I believe there are some internet issues in Wales and that means I am on call to cover the daily post. What a day to pick up the daily duties! We've got Free Practice about to kick off for the British GP, but we're all still reeling from the HRT news. There's more in the bullet points:

  • It's Sakon Yamamoto's birthday today and the HRT test driver has been promoted to the race team for the Silverstone weekend. But what of Senna? I hear you cry. Well, yes, exactly. No one really knows why Bruno is off the menu, except that we can only guess it's all about money. And it really sucks. Have your say on the special Bruno thread.
  • Yesterday, Williams announced that Sir Frank would be stepping down from running the team day by day, handing responsibility to Adam Parr. To be honest, I thought he had done that already, and I don't imagine it will change too much within the team itself, but it's about time Frank had a moment to himself!
  • On a lighter note, it's Friday, and we've found you a game to play. Virgin Racing tweeted about a new F1 game from their sponsors FX Pro. It's not your traditional driving game, instead you have to pick a currency pair (eg. GBP/USD) with the aim of selecting the best performing currency over the period of a lap. It's a bit confusing but there's the chance to win F1 VIP prizes. Give it a go and let us know how you do!

That should do it for now. As mentioned previously, we'll be heading over to the Audience with Joe meetup later this evening, and will report back. If you're going, please say hello! Otherwise, I'll see you in the comments.
