We are thrown headlong into another week, but at least we have testing to keep us amused. The guys were throwing it around the track at Jerez yesterday, with Vettel fastest, so it will be interesting to keep an eye on them throughout today as well.

  • Whitmarsh has officially taken over the lead of McLaren, as of 1st March. I am particularly interested to find out how he will do at the helm of a team trying to defend a championship. He seems nice but is he ruthless enough to get the job done?
  • The Force India was launched yesterday, with it's orange and green livery. Fisichella has said he expects KERS to be introduced in Spain, which is the start of the European season. Is this what we expect from most of the teams, or earlier/later than usual?
  • The team also admitted that having signing such a late deal with McLaren left things a little bit tight for them to meet their deadlines. That means little testing, which in turn means... slow cars? Do we expect Force India to be moving up the grid this year? Or more of the same from them?

F1 Debrief will also be along very soon, although if anyone wants to watch the live recording of the show, the replay is available here. As usual, I will see you in the comments.
