No suprises today I'm afraid, it is Thursday once more and I know its an awful day and no one likes it but we have the German Grand Prix to look forward to this weekend, with marginal tyres and rain on the cards it could be a good one.

Sidepodcast F1: Weather rain

Hockenheim,Germany

Thursday, 22 July

  • 24℃
  • Low: 20℃
  • Humidity: 60%
  • Light rain showers
  • Now you are probably wondering what the box on the right is all about, well Mr C has been hard at work as always and has created a new widget for the site which can be updated to show the weather at the F1 circuits, right now for example there are light rain showers at the Hockenheim circuit. It is still very much a work in progress so there maybe bugs.
  • After Stefano Domenicali's comments earlier in the week, Fernando Alonso has said that Ferrari have been fired up by the tough races. One thing for sure it is time for Ferrari to show their pace or questions will be asked.
  • Having not scoring for the last 3 races Felipe Massa is expecting to improve this weekend at Hockeinhein. Felipe is currently involved in the current Character Cup in a match against Sauber driver Kamui Kobyashi.
  • Paul di Resta will not be running in Friday practice at the German Grand Prix with the team allowing Sutil and Liuzzi time to get to grips with the tyres.
  • There is a geek in all of us or so I may have just made up so I can link you 34 Products geeks will love. I want the social media pillows.
  • The Doctor Who mention for this post is for something Christine asked for, two weeks ago, the number of times the Doctor says "Pond". I should point out that these numbers may not be entirely acurate as at times I was enjoying the episodes and forgot what I was doing:
    EpisodeDoctor says "Pond"
    Eleventh Hour6
    The Beast Below-
    Victory of the Daleks2
    Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone6

That is it for this daily post, I hope you enjoy Thursday whatever you may be up to and I shall see you in the comments!
