The inclement conditions seems to be clearing up for our boys out there testing. That's good because I was starting to get worried about poor Trulli having to don his wet weather gear. Nevertheless, testing continues for just one more day, so we have that and more to discuss:
- Despite the fact that Buemi keeps topping the timesheets in his '08 car, Pedalo has said he's surprised by the pace of the new machinery. The exact quote goes: "I'm surprised how little difference the slick tyres and the aero package have made." That bodes well for the new season, doesn't it?
- Defending Champ Hamilton also returned to the cockpit yesterday and said he was happy with how quickly he slipped back into the old routine. He thinks it'll be a busy winter because after just one day, his to-do list seems enormous. I know that feeling!
- Also, I know it's not strictly F1, but there is Montoya news. He's reuniting with an old sponsor or something. I was fascinated by the bit that said his team are only running three cars this season. Only?
There's plenty more up for discussion and as ever, don't feel constrained by what I've mentioned above. I'll be in the comments most of the day, so I hope to see you there.
