Here at Sidepodcast Towers, we are still reeling from the shock of seeing Barrichello back in the news. Seriously, I thought he'd gone underground and changed his name or something. Thankfully that was not the case, and he has finally broken cover to tell all.
- The one thing I picked out of Rubens' interview was that he said, and I paraphrase: "I could have retired and badmouthed all my old teams but I'm ready to stay and fight." Except, all he's been doing is mouthing off about Ferrari, so what's the difference?
- It's bad news all round for me, with Bourdais looking like he's going to head back to the US, and Franck's ALMS drive looking under threat. Who am I going to cheer on now?
- Ferrari are once again admitting that their KERS development is behind schedule, and they're even dreaming up schemes for starting the season without it. Is this ultimate sandbagging or will it put them on the back foot for 2009?
There are other bits and bobs going on in the F1 world and no doubt in your worlds as well, so please share with us. We'd love to know what you're up to, and whether you've got anything exciting planned for the weekend. Otherwise, just stop by and say hi. I'll see you in the comments.
