A big hello to all you folk out there wherever you may be and welcome to that day of the week that the gods of ancient past called 'Awesumus Dayus ofthy Weekus', also known as Friday. You may be in Birmingham for the Autosport International or you may be somewhere else on this fine day but I can guarantee you plenty of good times and links to share out in this daily. It's also a good chance to share out the birthday wishes as Formula 1 celebrates the birthdays of Giancarlo Fisichella and Narain Karthikeyan today! Which is awesome! And I spelt Narry's name right! Yesss!! It's a good day already.

Paddock News

Just One Cornetto, And Just One Race - After all the speculation and talk of Rome hosting a Grand Prix it looks like it won't be happening any time soon. Apparently Mr E says that a country isn't allowed to host more than one race - I guess Valencia really is in a world of it's own - unless it swaps back and forth with another venue and there's no way Monza should be dropped for some crappy Tilke street circuit. Sense prevails then, hopefully! Of course, sense in F1 can last about 5 minutes...

Fernando. is. faster. than. Liuzzi. Obviously. - See, this is an odd one. The Italian press were asking Jack Sparrow about a top Italian driver at the moment and he calls out Liuzzi with special praise. I mean, Liuzzi? As in Vimto Liuzzi? The Force India guy, right? Her? I mean... Him? Fair enough. I mean, he could have at least said someone who may be a really good Italian driver, like the Ant Hill Mob from Wacky Races. I always thought they were Italian for some reason. Sorry Mr Liuzzi but I just don't rate you as much as our friend Anando. Although then again, Cap'n Jack also has an interesting rival he's setting himself for 2011...

Won't Somebody please think of the children?! - Goodness me, what a sight. Now I love the Big Picture to bits and you can't go wrong with some large, high quality photos on the website but Christine is very brave putting up that car for a brief moment. Kudos to you, Christine. As you can tell Renault have re-revealed what they already revealed in their Lotus name reveal back in a revealing December for a revealing split of Lotus heritages. I think we should all make an agreement that we call this team Renault and the other one Lotus. Well, it's either we call them Renault or we call them Eric's Boys. I kinda like that.

Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up! IT'S HIGH DEFINITION TIME! - The inevitable has finally arrived and Bernie has finally given in like a teapot made of chocolate trying not to melt. High Definition is here so now you can see every single wrinke on the old man's face and you can see every whisker of Nigel Mansell's magnificently british mustache. HD is awesome! Of course, the other news is the announcement of Natalie Pinkham joining the 5 Live F1 crew in place of Holly Samos. She's done Goodwood television before and knows her sports so let's see how she fares in the pitlane. At least it's a change from the main BBC pitlane reporter team which consists of David Coulthard, David Coulthard and of course David Coulthard. How cool... runnings.

GREAT SCOTT!!! - This isn't to any real link, I just wanted to quickly include a quick few thoughts. It may stagger you to know that before this week I may have not had the pleasure of watching Back to the Future 2 and 3. Shocking, and I apologise for my 22 years of utter outrage. But I watched Pt. 2 the other night and what a film! I feel terrible for not watching it sooner, and that is why I am apologising because it is just awesome and very much mindblowing for my simple mind to comprehend. Tonight (as in this morning when this daily is publish, coz' time is all wibbly wobbly) I plan to watch Part 3 and I'm rather excited. Woo! I must admit though thanks to my Scrubs fandom I can't help but look at Michael J Fox and hear him going 'Bink! Bink!' over and over even though I'd seen BTTF before Scrubs. Ahh, what a series of films. I may even pick up the Telltale Games' episodic releases of Back to the Future games...

A little bit of this and that for 2011 - RG's put together a lovely post of his five most anticipated sporting events for the next 12 months or so and yet no mention of F1! Madness! Well I suppose it's fair does because there's plenty else to look forward to. The Masters should be good after the Ryder Cup fun of 2010 and Graham McDowell's agonising putt but make sure you check it out to see what else 2011 is offering.

Live Firefox Fox's for Firefox feature of Foxes. I Fink. - Not sure what i reckon on this, it's a bit odd really but here's a lovely live feed of some foxes from the people behind firefox. In all honestly I'm not entirely sure why they have a live feed of foxes (thankfully not on fire, phew..) but they seem to give treats by the number of Firefox 4 beta downloads which is really bizarre. We all know that Minty is the best fox around anyways.

And finally...

Mario's Many Mushrooms are Mightily Marvellous! - I saw this little article yesterday on Kotaku and I thought it'd be awesome to share around the comments. If you know about Super Mario (Who doesn't? Wahoo!!) you will know about his constant eating of mushrooms to make him larger and turn him into a fire god and make him fly. That's not a worrying message in the slightest. Anyways, someone has incoprated many famous brands and names and allsorts into Mario-style mushrooms and it looks really funky! Some great ones in their - I like the Apple one. I can see old Steve getting the iMush out in 2011.

Daily Listen - Rock Band Special - This week I've found myself playing Rock Band 3 quite a lot so i thought I'd do something a bit different and recommend a few songs I've picked up in the game that I've slowly begun to fall in love with that you may like.

So they are some of my highlights from the game so far at least. I'm really digging the game, the Rock Band games are always brilliant fun but I really want to get my grubby mits on the Keytar controller, the guitar is fun and the drums are great too but the keyboard stuff is brand new! And it looks so fun! Plus, I mean, it's a freakin' keytar. Keytar's are cool.

That's me done for another week. Hope this week has been a good one for you and you have a great Friday friends,a nd of course, stay happy and positive. Just being positive and stop letting bad things affecting us can be a great motivator or get us through tough times. Well, there's only one way for me to possibly exit this Daily.
