Hi there, Pamela here doing a Saturday from Australia daily. Christine pointed out that today we are celebrating two years of Sidepodcast Dailies. How amazing is that?!

So, the last race of the year! I’m a bit sad that the season’s over, but I’m in need of a break and would love to have some free weekends again. For those of us suffering from withdrawal symptoms after the race, there will be some action next week with the Young Driver and Pirelli tyre tests at Abu Dhabi. I’m sure twitter will keep us going for another week.

I am hoping this weekend sees Mark Webber winning the WDC, even if the Australian media may become unbearable. For those in Australia there will be a documentary on One HD this Sunday re-capping Mark’s 2010 season. I’m sure one of his highlights for 2010 will have been meeting me at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. Hmmm, or maybe not.

In other Australian news, the Australian GP Corporation and the Confederation of Australian Motorsports are in dispute over fees, and CAMS have threatened to ask the FIA to remove the GP from the 2011 Calendar. Not to worry though. I’m sure all the finances will be sorted over the next week, and SidePodMelbourne will go ahead as planned.

One of the highlights of this weekend so far has been the return of the Karunipedia to the 5Live commentary box. I particularly enjoyed having Martin Brundle in the commentary box with Crofty, Ant and Karun during FP2. Be sure to catch it on the iPlayer if you missed it.

Lukeh mentioned this yesterday, but there is a Sidepodcast insider at Abu Dhabi this weekend. Nick has been posting about his weekend and even got mentions on 5Live during FP1 and FP2!

After FP2 yesterday a group photo was taken of the drivers and team principals. A few drivers were missing but it seems all but one had a legitimate excuse.

This week there has been a bit of chat about Ferrari World. Check out this cool video of Fernando and Felipe on the rollercoaster. Adam Hay-Nicholls also wrote about Ferrari World and the ride through Ferrari V12 engine. Fernando and Felipe’s face distortions are a bit off putting and makes me think I probably wouldn’t ride on the rollercoaster myself, but they seem to enjoy it.

Thanks to Christine and Mr C, we have been wonderfully spoilt with plenty of podcasts lately. Be sure to check out the latest Aside with Joe.

I’ll leave you with some of my new favourite youtube clips. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Janna commented on these links a few weeks ago? Thanks Janna!
