Yesterday was a good day in Sidepodcast Towers, and whilst I would usually be dreading the appearance of Thursday tomorrow, instead I am still happy about the great Tuesday we had yesterday. Let's see how long this lasts. Here are some of the things we're talking about:
- Schumacher has admitted he is not fit to race in Valencia, with recurring problems in his neck. Ferrari immediately confirmed that Badoer would get the nod for the drive, which leaves the entire F1 community going: why? So far, no one seems to have a reason why they would choose Badoer over Gene, and whilst we don't have anything against Badoer, it seems an odd move.
- Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo couldn't let things lie with the above news and decided now was a good time to suggest that next year they might want to run three cars. This seems so unlikely to happen but if anyone can make it so, I guess Ferrari can.
- Finally, it is not F1 news, but Franck news! He'll be racing in the IRL series later this month. Yay! That is all.
Midway through the week, you must be up to something exciting by now? Let us know either way, we want to hear from you. I'll see you in the comments.
