Daily: 15th November 2008 - We're heading into our final weekend before seeing the cars back in action again during Barcelona testing, so there's just a couple of days of speculation left before we see who's doing what and how they're looking. One of the main news stories that hit the headlines late yesterday was all about Bernie and his possible split.
Daily: 25th November 2008 - So here's a unique problem. A very tired Christine went to bed early this evening and she doesn't appear to have written a daily post. The stroke of midnight just passed and I patiently waited for the Sidepodcast Updates system to inform me there's new stuff to read, yet nothing happened. No post, no ping, no nothing.
Daily: 3rd December 2008 - So there I am minding my own business, busily tweaking the cantankerous Eee PC only to discover there's discontent in the comments because madam's forgotten to write a post again. It just so happens there is a December the 3rd this year, and here's a post to prove it.
Daily: 11th December 2008 - So remind me, how does this work again? We're down one Sidepodmember today, as the girl picked up a bit of a cold after experiencing fresh air recently - it's a dangerous world out there people, be warned.
Daily: 3rd January 2009 - Ah yes, your friendly daily post from Sidepodcast. I've no idea what's going on in the F1 world at present, but thankfully Christine does. According to F1 Minute, newsworthy topics include Paul di Resta and Michael Schumacher.
Daily: 5th January 2009 - It's the first proper Monday back at work for F1 teams following the holiday period, so if nothing else, we're expecting some actual news worthy of discussion today. Are the rumours true, and will Honda staff learn any more about their long term future in this sport?
Daily: 7th January 2009 - Yesterday was bit a exciting, all things considered. Early on in the day Scott noticed Christine's recent diary entry was featured on YouTube's homepage, and then we finally had some actual Honda news to content with. Ross Brawn broke the silence by clarifying some key points about the teams future and confirmed initial talks have begun with Ferrari.
Daily: 12th January 2009 - The weekend clearly took more out of us than we were expecting as the scheduled Debrief show was bumped to next week, in place of a special podcast from the karting. However, the weekend is behind us and we move on to a week of news, starting with the Ferrari launch.
Daily: 24th January 2009 - We haven't had a lot to say in terms of posts the past few days, but that's because the most interesting things are happening in the comments. Here's a quick round up of everything you've missed out on if you've not been keeping up...
Daily: 2nd February 2009 - Okay, so where did the weekend go? It's Monday already and yet we're no further on down our to-do list. It looks like the next twenty-something hours are going to be dominated by the very British subject of the weather.
Daily: 14th February 2009 - As pointed out by Flibster in the comments, it's some kind of special day today. The rest of the world is busy declaring their feelings for one another, so we intend to join in the fun with some Sidepodlove. Rather conveniently as it turns out, F1 is full of the stuff at the moment.
Daily: 16th March 2009 - We made it through the weekend with flying colours. Well maybe not flying colours, but it is Monday and this week we're likely going to hit some kind of podcast producing record. Watch out for the return of Sidpodpanel, the penultimate F1 Debrief before racing begins in anger, and the chat we had with Joe on Sunday. Christine has more season preview F1 Digest episodes in the works, and that's before we do the whole live thing again next Sunday.
Daily: 11th April 2009 - It's been a while, but in the absence of one half of Sidepodcast, it falls to me to provide the daily post this fine Saturday morning. There hasn't been a huge amount happening in the F1 world, and after the first batch of flyaway races, this can only be a good thing.
Daily: 12th April 2009 - I've had a scout around for Formula 1 news this afternoon, and there isn't any. None at all. Which makes me mighty glad I'm not a news agency promising to deliver between 10 and 20 original F1 stories a day. If I'd have been dumb enough to suggest that, I might be forced to make something up.
Daily: 6th May 2009 - The other half of Sidepodcast has now been taken out by whatever made me unwell last weekend, so the daily post once again falls on my watch. Luckily I am useful enough to be able to type, unfortunately covering the day's F1 news with brevity and panache isn't my thing, so the F1 Minute podcast is having a bit of a rest right now.
Daily: 20th June 2009 - If you missed the events of yesterday, you'll be needing to look at this photograph. Hand on heart, Rob Smedley is every bit as fantastic in person as he appears on the TV/Radio and Sidepodcast loves him to pieces.
Daily: 29th November 2009 - It's been a very long time since I was left in charge of covering daily duties, I was beginning to worry Christine no longer had faith in me. I shall not let the good ship Daily Post down though, despite very little happening in the F1 world.
Apple to unveil new product today, we'll take three please - Late on Wednesday, the entire of the technology world will be looking in the direction of San Francisco, where Apple are holding a media event to launch a new product. The sensible money says it will be a tablet shaped product.
Daily: 30th January 2010 - Today is Saturday, the penultimate day of January and the start of the weekend. Most importantly this means we can sleep. Both halves of Sidepodcast are officially under the weather today, and the lovely Christine is suffering the most.
Daily: 14th February 2010 - Today is Saint Valentine's Day, which is traditionally a time for celebrating love and stuff. As the Sidepodcast Post is well into its second year, it means last years random act of kindness has come back to haunt me in the shape of "an annual tradition". So here I am writing another one.
Daily: 15th March 2010 - Monday, and the day after the day before. F1 is back in business and we've ticked one event off of the 19 race calendar already. It will be a further 11 days before cars take to the track again. It looks like we have some time to kill.
Daily: 27th May 2010 - Today is a daily with a difference, as regular writer James is unwell and Christine managed to forget to cover. Predictably this won't be the most punctual of posts, although I do have a genuinely good excuse for once.
2010 FIFA World Cup: Day 2 - As the 2010 World Cup enters its second day of exciting pitch action, we're busy swatting up on the rules and regulations surrounding that mysterious game, known simply as football.
2010 FIFA World Cup: Day 9 - The World Cup has thus far treated fans to a fantastic spectacle, with great drama, breathtaking goals, beautiful typography and some unexpected results. Wait a second, beautiful typography? Why yes indeed.
2010 FIFA World Cup: Day 15 - Yesterday, reigning World Cup champions Italy, were unceremoniously dumped out of this year's competition. Defeated 3-2 by Slovakia, in what must be considered the match of the tournament thus far. There were tears and everything.
2010 FIFA World Cup: Day 19 - It's another day of world cup action, and my time for writing one more football related post has arrived earlier than expected. It cannot be that fans interest has waned since England were dumped out of the competition can it? Still, less of England means we'll see a better class of football, but before we talk about that, let us discuss typography.
2010 FIFA World Cup: Day 20 - Is this competition still going? After a two day break from football, I'd given up and moved on with my life. Much like a 19 race Grand Prix calendar, this World Cup is beginning to outstay its welcome by an event or three.
Wimbledon 2010: Day 12 - Whilst in something of a grumpy mood yesterday, I hit upon the idea of Speed Sporting. In short, it's a means to make sport entertaining for people with busy lives. Admittedly, not many people approved of the idea of shortening an F1 race to two laps, or a football match to just penalties, but I shall not be deterred.
Daily: 11th August 2010 - Somehow I've managed to get myself nominated for daily duties, a task I've avoided for quite some period. I'm not a natural writer and can easily spend several hours on the most benign post, thus today I've set myself a challenge of writing this content in exactly 30 minutes. How it reads after that period is how it shall be, the current time here is 23:30 (GMT+1).
Daily: 25th August 2010 - Not sure how I'll top supersub Alex's daily post from yesterday, but I shall try my best. Before I begin though, it should be said that inebriated blogging is rarely recommended and I hold Lou responsible for scheduling my daily duty on the eve of a Sidepodmeetup.
Daily: 7th September 2010 - I seem to be on an extended F1 summer holiday at the moment. I didn't get as much done during the allocated shutdown as I'd hoped and thus have quietly continued as if the racing is yet to resume. Damn inconvenient of the FIA to have scheduled Spa and Monza before I was ready.
Daily: 12th September 2010 - I've missed my deadline for a midnight daily post publication once again. That's okay though because SidepodTime is elastic and it's Sidepodcast's fault for drawing me into an interesting debate in the comments and delaying me anyhow.
Daily: 6th November 2010 - It seems fitting that today I get to write today's daily post. Sidepodcast has for the past two weeks been barrelling us along just like it used to, we're again riding the F1 roller-coaster despite our best efforts to keep things under control. It's all good though, there's roughly ten days to go before we get to take almost 100 days off. Bring it on F1, give us a week to remember.
Daily: 7th December 2010 - Today's daily post is a post with a minor difference. This very lovely Amanda is away today, so we promised via the comments to organise a super-sub stand in... and then we all forgot. If only we had some form of handy Twitter bot to do all our remembering for us.
Daily: 16th January 2011 - It's Sunday, and time for a super-sub daily post to cover for an unwell Lou. I shouldn't be writing this really, there's much behind-the-scenes work to be done during what little F1 pre-season remains (just 56 days at the time of writing).
Daily: 30th January 2011 - Formula 1 personnel began arriving in Valencia yesterday, the 24 Hours of Daytona races on in darkness and Crofty saves the day with his iPhone. it must be time for another Sidepodcast Daily.
Daily: 6th February 2011 - The Bathurst 12 Hours is underway, the Premier League witnessed a gluttony of goals and Formula 1 prepares for more testing - this time in Jerez.
Daily: 28th April 2011 - Google updated their Chrome web browser on Wednesday including a long awaited feature (by myself at least) that converts the spoken word into text. This one fantastic feature might just revolutionise the conversation on Sidepodcast. Maybe.
Glastonbury Festival 2011 - Since the 1970's Worthy Farm in Somerset has played host to some of the biggest names in contemporary music. This weekend it will do it all over again as Glastonbury Festival kicks off the UK festival season in style. Beyonce, Coldplay and U2 are this year's headliners, all set to play in front of a sell out 137,000 fans.
Daily: 6th September 2011 - Tuesday is barely a few hours old and is already looking unusual. I don't recall my last daily post for this site, but it must have been a while ago. To further compound my confusion, I've borrowed Christine's MacBook to write this on, as mine is somewhat tied up rendering new and interesting things.
Daily: 13th September 2011 - Welcome to a daily post with a difference. You see, the rather wonderful Mrs Christine has spent the past four days being beyond fabulous in so many ways I thought I ought highlight some of her efforts, lest they pass unnoticed.
Daily: 19th September 2011 - Let's start the week with a bang. Formula 1 is Singapore bound, as the travelling carnival prepares for the sport's solo night race. Despite being a relative newcomer to the F1 season, this is already one of my favourite events. This year, organisers have lined up Shakira, Linkin Park and Shaggy concerts throughout the weekend.
Daily: 27th September 2011 - I know my place. Have a great Tuesday.
