Another week begins and we are faced with yet another Monday morning. Let's hope there will be plenty of F1 news flowing today, so we can take our minds off the Monday blues. Here's what we've been talking about over the weekend:

  • The Character Cup has come to an end, with a much closer battle than we could have ever predicted. In the end, Alonso saw off Vettel by just one solitary vote that came at the very last minute. It's been a great couple of weeks, and now we're thinking about the future of the polls series.
  • With the Daytona 500 taking place late last night, we've been debating the various merits and complaints of NASCAR. Some say it's a boring way to spend a couple of hours, whilst others believe it makes a nice change to Formula 1. I've never seen a NASCAR race, so can't really comment, but I'm easily swayed, so share your thoughts.
  • We've got more testing coming up this week - what will the weather hold for our teams, and will any valuable running be done? The Ferrari boys seem confident despite a lack of mileage, but what about those that escaped to the desert to avoid adverse conditions?

That'll keep us going for now, unless there is anything you want to share with us. Don't feel constrained by what I've listed above, tell us what's on your mind. I'll see you in the comments.
